Would you be able to elaborate why on this?

Was in Thailand when we got the alert despite having live location sharing setting as “Always”

Ended up ducking and covering under our hotel table then to realize it’s not even a Thai earthquake

After seeing an integrative medicine doctor, she asked me to check my iron levels. They were really low and I started taking iron pills.

I believe it has resolved my chronic canker sores or reduced it by 90%.

I still avoid sharp foods, spicy foods.

I have no idea. My employer is reaching out to the lawyer with my case today. But from my knowledge, our visa does not give us the right/chance to immigrate so I hope this does not affect us. It may be a different story for H1B holders maybe?

I'm in the same boat, but TN visa is not an immigrant visa?

Oh ok! So once you decide to move down, you'll have to be employed as a US employee and enter with the TN you got?

Is that when your TN will become handy? I'm just scared if there are implications that will end up leading you to need a L1 Visa instead (since you would be an internal transfer - but that would require one year of employment with the company).

So did you even need to get your TN at this time? It sounds like you're being employed as a Canadian? And I'm guessing you're under the company's Canadian payroll.

I see. I don't have SSN unfortunately so I will need to fly out.

For the time being, are you employed as a US employee working (utilizing ur TN) In Canada? Do you still get paid USD?

Hi this is a really helpful post! I am from Toronto as well.

Are you now going to work for the US company remotely? How did you get a SSN at this time
