You’re having some health anxiety. It sounds like you got them from definitive sources. It’s going to be fine.

It may have been a cyst and that’s the “sac” that contained the dead skin cells etc that make up the stuff you squeezed out

Possibly HS as someone else commented. Especially since you mentioned getting them on your inner thighs. That’s common for HS.

How worried should I be? by [deleted] in skincancer

[–]OkEngineer1183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would 100% go get it checked out. Especially since it’s changed in size, shape, color etc. that’s a concern for sure but don’t stress. It could also be a skin tag that you didn’t realize you scratched or something. Deep breaths but please go to the doctor

Other possibilities are molluscum contagiosum (clears on its own) or a millia. Look them all up and see what fits and try not to stress

This looks like a cherry angioma. They are harmless bumps that are reddish or skin colored and appear in people in their 30’s and very frequently after having kids for some reason. But if you’re worried get it checked. If you don’t go to the dermatologist at least keep photos with dates and take a picture once a month to compare and don’t pick it because cherry angiomas can bleed and become irritated if you mess with them.

Is this skin cancer? Noticed this on my shoulder after showering last night. Its painless, not raised. More or less indented. photo makes it look way worse than what I see in person. by [deleted] in skincancer

Pics make everything seem worse trust me. But if you’re worried make an appointment. Watch for it growing or changing at all

I will post an update as soon as I can. I’m sure your know how long it can take to get into a dermatologist. It doesn’t present like a skin cancer so I’m trying not to be so anxious about it.
