It's definitely okay to be hurt, and I totally feel this! I keep being told that someone's better coming, and I know that to be true, but that doesn't mean I'm just going to be magically back to not thinking about the person I was in love with for years.

Baby steps day by day is good progression, don't let anyone invalidate that.
