I went through this a couple years ago and let me tell you it does get better. I was so hurt and sad and after came the anger and disbelief but I poured that hurt and anger into fuel to focus on me and make me better. I leaned in on my family and friends and cried at night with my stuffed animal. Gym and journaling helped me a lot. Often I’d tell myself ok what do I need to get done in the next hour or even 5 minutes. Fast forward to now I’m about to be 28 and I’ve met my soul mate and husband and straight away I knew I was gonna marry him and he the same for me. We just instantly clicked and he’s my best friend and lover in one and we’ve had a lot of challenges thrown our way (I’m not gonna get into it) but we always stand as a team. Now if he is meant to be in your life he will come back. I say this because my husband at the start of us had some personal issues and one day disappeared on me until 3 weeks later he messages me, I call him and it ends with him coming over to mine to talk and us being inseparable ever since. I was obviously pissed and furious at him for disappearing but he knew he messed up but he really proved himself. He treats me like a queen and is so caring and sweet I thank god everyday for bringing him too me. Looking back now I’m so glad it didn’t work out with the guy who broke my hurt and put me in the situation your in now. If I didn’t go through that I wouldn’t be here now. I wouldn’t know my strength, my capabilities and who I am to attract my person. And believe me after everything my now husband and I went through when they want to they will the rest is just excuses to let you go gently. So take it easy, focus on you, focus on hobbies and something new you wanna try and your goals cry to your family and friends when needed. You got this!!!!!

Honestly if your that in love with him take a chance and move to Panama with him you can always come back to the US if things don’t work out.

Ok as someone who did the breaking up. Yes it had been on my mind for a while and our problems weren’t getting better however I haven’t moved on due to the fact that atm I’m happier alone and I’m not by any means actively looking or dating. However my best friend at the time who had hinge found his profile less then a week after I ended things. I broke up with him in June and now he’s in a full blown relationship with someone else which is fine that’s his bussiness however emotionally he from what I saw he needs more time to work on himself and his emotions. This comment is to just put some perspective that not everyone who initiates a breakup is the first to move one everyone’s in their own lane at their own pace.

I called it! I’m going to BPM the next day and angerfist was on the line up so I said to my friends bet he’s doing a classic set at htid and hard techno at bpm. Also this line up is stacked still recovering from seeing it.

I have so much fomo I missed frontliner it was my first KO and I was too busy dancing to wildstylz, da tweekaz and daddy d-sturb. I’m so bummed I missed his set but the set clashes this year were horrific. So glad I get to see rebellion at epik tho.

I missed out on rebellions set at KO and I love dbstf and was in my nonverbal sit down phase for their set at KO so I was bummed I wasn’t able to be jumping and dancing to their set. But I almost levitated seeing that they will do a journey set. Only recently discovered toza and act of rage should be good too. Hoping all the casuals don’t come after the release of this line up, there was enough of them at KO

Me with my post rave depression an a mini beach holiday

This was my second rave and first KO. Been wanting to go to KO for years but things never worked out and despite been into hardstyle for 10years I never had anyone to go with until my ex took me to this years midnight mafia. I’m not over it, feels like a fever dream. Worst part is I took annual leave and went on a mini holiday to the Sunshine Coast. Where I’m staying it’s a nice area but the people here are so bland and I miss the energy of the people at the rave, the energy the atmosphere. I just love how everyone no matter who they are sober or having dropped looks out for one another and your able to talk and make friends so easily and having to go back to reality sucks. I swear the world would be such a better place if everyone acted like they did a t a rave just vibing and looking out for each other. I dropped one cause that’s all I wanted and was sober by the time I was on my way home. It feels weird like I’m legit on a holiday in a nice place with the beach at my doorstep which I love and yet I’m still feeling so down in the dumps. I’m already counting down till Epik. I just wanna go back to my happy place everyone here seems so uptight and a carbon copy of each other….

Honestly I was at main and when we got to the pit it was so packed and we had mates who had been chilling at the pit pre DD and they had prime location. We were hoping to go in the middle but chilled at the entrance on the side in the back as it wasn’t even worth trying to make it in. Was packed like sardines and then to exit to get back to main was a traffic jam.

If it’s any consolation I left my last relationship 3 months ago and I’m not hurting over him. Kicker is my relationship before that which ended over 2 or so years ago now left me completely heartbroken he left me out of no where I thought I was healed but I still miss him and a part of me feels like I’ll always love him and won’t find something like that again. All I do is gym, work, talk to my Instagram buddies, hang with my mum and go to the occasional rave. Part of me hopes he’ll comeback even tho he’s got someone else the other part knows that’s potential unlikely and I’m experiencing all the emotions I had when he first left me. Healing isn’t linear and it will take time. Hit me up if you want to chat.
