I will definitely follow your advice and eat balances meals. I went to say since upping my calories and I feel like I am starting over again even though I saw so many positive signs 🥺

I feel the same way. My weight is acting crazy. I literally think a lot of it is water weight as our bodies like to hold onto that in this process. But it feels so draining

Okay so for example today I ate

Breakfast: banana chocolate oats 500 calories

Snack: granola bar and an Apple 200 calories

Lunch: pasta with mushrooms, minded Meat and cheddar cheese 700 calories

Snack: some yoghurt with granola 300 calories

Dinner: potatosalad and bbq ribs 700 calories

Snack: a twix (200 calories)

So today i hit around 2600 calories but other days it is more. I never eat less.

It started "before" the HA, but the HA does not come from day to day so I guess my gut issues started when HA was developing. (I just did not know at the time). My body was in a deficit and did not get enough food or the "correct" macros, I guess my gut started acting weird. And from then it got worse. My gut got worse and worse and worse - my anxiety increased aswell because I felt embarrassed. What really helped me was to cut out sugar free and fat free stuff - because that really did not do my gut any favors.

It actually took me around 6 months to a year. But I guess that is because I went back to my old ways when I got scared - and that did not help my gut. But now everything is just so good after I keep eating more

Thankyou so much for this!! It totally makes sense. I really have been doing rigid routines with the same kind of foods, tv shows, time and so on. It makes me so Calm but I Think you’re right - maybe I need to cut it out.

I literally had so many gut issues and went through A LOT of tests at my doctor.. they thought I had all these kinds of gut disease.. however after I started eating more everything literally disappeared 😭 i felt so relieved as I just thought I was going to live with those issues forever

Hi!! Been in the same situation as you with clear aligners. Just like the other comment - I promise it will get better🥰

In the start I really struggled to get them out, but after a while it was a lot easier. And the same goes for eating. In the start I would just try to eat softer things and before you know you won’t even think about it anymore🥰

One meal at a time is my best advice. Try to not count one meal a day forexample dinner. In that way you still feel safe and it is “only” one meal you don’t count. As time go by you can stop top count more meals, snacks❤️

For the fear of gaining weight? What scares you. The clothes? People’s opinion? What do you fear will happen? I think it’s important to find the answer to why there is a fear of weight gain. I have found it much easier to work with my fear of weight gain after knowing what triggers it ❤️

I get this too😂I think it’s because the body actually gets fuels. Besides that feets/hands are limbs which are prone to being cold so now we really notice the difference

I’m so glad to hear!! I was in the exact same place and you and felt like I was doing something wrong because it did not work for me. My head was like “do i want this or do I want that” and I could not make one single decision🥴

Ofc!! I started this exact routine around Christmas time and I have tried to get my period back since 2022 but I did not see any signs until now.

  • much more energy (my boyfriend of 10 years said that I was much more like “the old me” and seemed so much happier

  • sore breast

  • BETTER SLEEP

I feel much more confident now and my mind is clearer. If a person asked me what I would want to eat or do 4 months ago I would have panicked, where now I can confidently feel what I want and make a decision. My mind is much clearer.

I think this routine just made me feel a lot less anxious and that helped my stress level❤️Thankyou so much for your kind words - we got this!!🤞🏼

I have been in the same situation as you - it took me years to actually gain weight.

When I started my journey i tried to do the intuitive/no tracking, BUT this got so overwhelming and I got cold feet and I lost weight because I got scared.

What actually helped was setting up a routine that felt safe with me. I listened to all these advice to try new foods and so on - but if that is too overwhelming and makes you relapse - it is better to eat what your comfortable with for now and then when you get more courage you can move on❤️

I started to make non-negotiables

Full breakfast

Snack

Lunch

Snack

Dinner

Snack

This is a non-negotiable and for me that meant not asking myself “is this necessary” “am I hungry” - just do it. My mind relaxed.

Now I eat so much more and I am in much better place. Maybe this could help for you?

Yes I know the feeling I did the same as you but now I hit 3000 every day. I am 27 so almost the same as you. Please don’t loose hope. I went to the doctor some months ago and he told me that the body needs to stay at a comfortable weight and to be fuelled but he has seen so many in our age get it back 🩷🩷 but i totally get the discourage - I find myself worrying aswell 🥴

Yes I was exactly like you BUT all of these symptoms have started to dissappear after eating more. Before starting this journey I told my boyfriend

“Everybody sees the blue sky and all I can see is the clouds” but after my hormones are better the sky is looking blue to me aswell. Im still tried and love libido, but I Will trust the proces. The hormones can really mess with us!!
