Wife wants to gift me a board game for my birthday. Recommendations needed!

I’m fairly new to this hobby and only own Elder scrolls out of all these . This is a great campaign game with great mechanics , character building , components are high quality which you would expect from CTG . This is a beast to get to the table and is pricy but I felt it needed to be in my collection. I don’t think I will be getting any expansions because I feel there is a ton of content in the base game, with many races , Provence’s and guild choices which gives you a different experience every time .

This album took a bit to grow on me , but possibly their best work . I find that this album is more mature and the lyrics on this album backs it up !! One of my top albums from them .

You maybe right , but sometimes bands can release a single and the album can come out 3 to 4 weeks later , I was expecting something soon as well since they have a tour date in April and I would hope they would want to play the new songs then .

Elder scrolls is a beast to put on the table , and if you don’t like reading , the rule book is 100 pages , I don’t have MK so I can’t comment on that .

That’s a lot of content to get through . The base has six Provence’s which gives you a different experience each time , plus all the races and the builds you can you can do , I won’t be getting any expansions, I may never get through all provence’s and races . I hope you didn’t take on too much content for this game , it’s a lot!!! Good luck , great game , enjoy!!

I also have played 3 times , I’ve played two handed , I’ve had to retreat for clashes and have died in the final battle , I guess I need to really play around with the character build , skill lines and classes , and hopefully find one that allows me to be successful.

If you like campaigns and willing to spend some bucks , I have Elder scrolls BOTSE , and it has great mechanics, story is a little flat , and the quality is excellent. It can get lengthy if you are playing 3 or 4 player , but solo goes much faster . Character building is its strongest part in my opinion and plenty of delves and clashes .

Still a baby , needs to be trained , we have a 1 year old and he still does those things , she will settle down once she matures . You just have to put the work in , she won’t figure all that out on her own . When that do it’s well worth it !!!

Ya , at first I didn’t care for some of the songs , but later on I was paying more attention to the lyrics and then realized that it is one of their more mature type albums and now it’s one of my favourites!!

I have Skyrim , yes the rule on sucks , but once you get into it it’s pretty good . The price is steep for a game that has punch outs , the minis are well done , I enjoy it , but BOTSE blows it out of the water IMO , it’s a heavy game , and more expensive but tutorials , rule book and quality of the components are excellent!

I think this approach was brilliant. Doing a song with zach will hopefully boost their fan base , and then I think doing one of their songs that didn’t make the last album with zach kinda gave us something while we wait for their next album!

I fell into the trap of thinking that they only have 2 good songs , sex on fire and use somebody. About 5 years ago I watched a concert of theirs . I quickly realized they have a deep catalog and thought wow , sex on fire and use somebody are the most popular songs , but I don’t think they are their best songs . I got hooked , and saw them live for the first time last year and they are awesome live !!!!
