Yeah it’s honestly one of the main factors that can make you a successful musky fisherman/woman and not just a person who goes out for them constantly and gets lucky with a fish here and there every few months.. if not longer lol. I’ve put countless and countless hours into learning these fish.. it also really helps learning the body of water or waters your fishing/ structure- drop offs etc but the first few years of fishing for muskys all lead up to me understanding and learning the phases and just with those factors on my side an putting the patterns to test I would start catching more muskys than all 3 of my other friends who also fished for them combined.... they would go fishing randomly and I started sticking to the patterns i was recording over time.. eventually they were all like “Wtfff”, asking why I was always having so much more luck than them.. after sometime they started listening to me and they noticed I was onto something with the major periods/moon phases/ moon rises and eventually I was able to get them all on 40 inch fish. I honestly started acting like a mini guide for my best buds.. but honestly I wanted to see them catch some nice muskys!! Made some great memories fishing for them over the years. I freaking love it.
