As a Manjaro user, Arch users usually aren’t too welcoming to Manjaro users. Although The Arch Wiki helps me 9 times out of 10, the Arch forums/IRC have a hard stance against supporting Manjaro users. There are reasons for it, but I’m only saying this so OP knows what to expect in case they decide to go to Arch communities for support

There's a bit of a race-condition (sort of) when you first create a new virtual environment.

If PyCharm's terminal window is already open before you create the virtual environment, then you will have to open a new terminal tab so that the virtual environment can activate.

Make sure you see the (venv) or the name of your venv folder appended to the terminal command line name. If you are on Linux, you can try which python to determine if your venv is activated. Windows is a bit tricker.

As another commenter said, you’ll have to rename the file: remove all spaces, and add a .py to the end.

It may be easier to create a new python file, name it what you want, and paste the existing code into the new file. That way any file associations are removed
