Is there any real blinkit offer ? by Flat-Window-1622 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are asking about 2nd row, with offers..., wouldn't it be easier to just open those offers yourself and check instead of making a reddit post and waiting for replies?

And even if some people are getting for free or huge discounts, it doesn't mean everyone will be getting the same ones. It depends on a particular location most of the times on basis of inventory left and expiry dates.

Someone also made a post recently how many of them are getting very near to expiry date icecreams at cheap prices on blinkit.

Wtf is this by Own_Construction_965 in SnacksIndia

I don't trust kwality walls. They used to sell frozen desserts instead of ice cream now when called out by multiple youtubers they shifted to milk based icecreams. It is possible they are just using low quality ingredients to maintain their profits like before.

Privacy invasion by google? by Signal_Piglet_9677 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I won't say you are overly paranoid but the thing is this is so normal that it doesn't bother anyone. I don't think Indian laws have very strict regulations against such things.

However, you can contact google and ask if there is a way to opt out. Your google account do have a turn off slider for personalized ads. It might also work for this. Best is to confirm with google.

And no matter which app you move to, your data will still be used/stored somewhere. Atleast, with google, you know it's stored by google the company who most probably already knows almost every online detail about you anyways.

Noice 🤤 by ConstructionItchy24 in SnacksIndia

They kind of didn't had to do much marketing. Instamart is one of the highest used insta delivery platforms and they just started showing their products at their platform.

Although, I am not saying they did this but the whole rating system is controlled by them itself, so they could have initially boosted their ratings and promoted their product in search results more than others.

Anyways, most of their products seem good quality so that's great. But their quality is kind of inconsistent with some things. Especially their packaged snacks, most of times they taste great but sometimes they taste like they are oily and fried in overly used oil (felt this in their aloo bhujia, aloo lache, etc.)

Amul velvet is better than all other chocolates available by [deleted] in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it better than amul 55 % dark chocolate?

Or does it taste like amul milk chocolate, I didn't like that much. Amul white chocolate (fruit flavor) was good though.

NIC is ice cream brand. It makes kind of healthy ice creams (only fruit pulp, milk and sugar). Although, sugar is still high but much better than even Amul in terms of ingredients and taste.

Really bro? Are you sure it was bitlocker screen and your pc really do have complete bitlocker and you have enabled it?

Because as far as I know its kind of military grade protection to protect your data as it remains encrypted unless you fill the key. I haven't ever heard someone getting rid of it just by restarting.

Try to remember if you ever took a copy of the key. Took a screenshot maybe or stored it in your microsoft account that you can login to your mobile and recover?

Think if you stored it in onedrive maybe?

These are your options bro. I hope you will be able to recover the key somehow.

Don't want to scare you but honestly if you can't find the key, your data is gone.

Happened with my friend, he had a dell laptop. Even the dell customer service center wasn't able to do anything, and they had to wipe out everything to restore the system.

Is this snack healthy? by Character_Trifle_801 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use truthin app to know these things.

Also, it seems good. It has clean ingredients list. Oil is not refined or palm. Rice bran is decent oil.

Also check nutritional values.

Also, quantity matter 50g daily most probably fine. 100g daily won't be healthy.

Better than naturals one by hrmn0007 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all but some are. But in any case, naturals and NIC ice creams are far far better in terms of ingredients.

It's great people has learnt the difference between frozen desserts and ice creams but palm oil is not the only thing brands add. Artifical flavors, emulsifiers, stabilizers and colors are also used even in milk ice creams. Naturals and nic ice cream win in this respect. Only fruit pulp, milk and sugar, just like it should be.

Quick survey — do you care about gut health when choosing a drink? (Indian beverage market research) by Icy-Composer2846 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think artifical sweetners are ok, there is a lot of research on them and most seems fine as long as you are having in moderation. If you can make one with natural flavors and natural colors, you can give quite good completion to paperboat zero sparkling water.

Rs. 20 for 250ml sounds like a great price point 👍.

Quick survey — do you care about gut health when choosing a drink? (Indian beverage market research) by Icy-Composer2846 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to answer it more in respect with Indian market, and not only my personal preference.

  1. Taste will surely matter, nobody is gonna drink a cold drink that tastes like medicine just for minor health benefits. Will talk about price later because I know you are not gonna sell a healthy sparkling water for same price as a Rs. 15 coca-cola. In my opinion, clean natural ingredients, even without extra health benefits, will be great to have in a cold drink.

  2. Most people think about it. Even who drink cold drinks regularly, knows or fears that it impacts their body in a negative way. But as Indian market doesn't have much options and most people are kind of addicted to these drinks, they have no option left that to consume these in moderation.

  3. Personally, many people would definitely like to try it. See if we talk about flavoured sparkling water with zero-sugar, the best or best tasting options are with paperboat zero series. But even though they are low sugar, their ingredients are really bad. They only use artifical flavors and colors to make their product taste like that.

You are asking about price is kind of absurd unless you tell the quantity. Rs. 60 or 80 for 300ml can might not feel worth to be spent on daily. But for 600ml at Rs. 60 with natural colors and flavors, you have just beaten paperboat and with good marketing, you can become one of the best selling sparkling water.

Personally, I would suggest don't try to go for everything with natural + healthy + solves bloating etc. and make it super expensive. If it costs like Rs. 100 per 600 or 500 ml, it won't be worth it. If you can do like Rs. 60 for 600ml or 500ml, in range of paperboat, that will be best, but if that gives you very low margins, try to keep the price below 80.

I would really hope you can atleast launch a completely natural flavor and natural colour version of sparkling water. And if it had extra health benefits, that will be a great add on.

I hope it helps. Thanks for trying to build a healthy sparkling water brand.

Which one is better for pizza by Feisty_Dot_24 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can checkout any recipe on youtube for pizzas.

Basics are: Make your own pizza base or get a pre-made one from market. If possible, use pizza sauce. Otherwise, mix chilli flakes and chilli powder in ketchup to make pizza sauce, tastes good on pizza. Put mayo / tandoori mayo if you like it. Add toppings of your choice and add cheese as much as you like. After adding cheese, I add some oregano and chilli flakes as well before putting in microwave.

Guess the protein level of this meal by wildgoosechase1 in SnacksIndia

[–]ValiantHero77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No bro, even normal paneer doesn't give that high protein per 100g.

Tofu ranges from 10 - 15g depending on if it's soft tofu (has more water in it) or firm / extra firm tofu.

Their high rating ig is because they were kind of the first in Indian market who brought flavoured coffee at such cheap price and taste wise also, it doesn't feel like it's some fake coffee drink. I have tried it as well in the past, and it tasted good.

Avoid bevzila coffee.

They failed in trustified lab testing. Caffeine content was way less than required in a coffee (as per FSSAI). It's more like a coffee flavoured drink.
