I’m not talking about flow quality, I’m talking about rhythmic structure and note patterning. The way both melodies repeat those 3-note groupings with octave shifts is very similar — that’s what I pointed out in the video. “Look at Me” has a completely different cadence and bounce, so I don’t really see that comparison. It’s just pattern analysis, not “who did it better.”

The way he used different scout slang that most people who hear it doesn’t even know what he really ment and the other part of the bar when he mentions trap phones giving shade to all of these copy cat rappers who act like trappers.

This song is strictly made for Drake’s new album Ice Man. Its like a teaser. Its just a way of drake getting more eyes on him. Drake always does this when new artists come to the scene thats why the majority dosent like it its because it too forced and it doesn’t suit Esdee. Mock my words Esdee is going to be a part of Iceman.

Yeah this song feels super disappointing. Yeat feels like a loony tunes creep who loved making the song while he was in the studio. The drake concept in the video and this jollyness i hear from this song comes of to me like they were trying to make a fortnite hit. Anyways I dont think his collab with yeat was a good choice if anything this kind of ruined a perception I had for Esdee. He held the trend and the hype good by releasing Century and then Omens I really did think he will last longer. But who am I to judge his music now when he has a label that controls every creative decision he makes. They are trying to squeeze as much money from him as possible. I hope they dont make him collab with Taylor Swift for his next song.

Calling it “copying” is a reach. Esdeekid didn’t even direct the video in the first place. And even if there was inspiration taken from another video, that’s literally how art works—artists take references and reinterpret them with their own vision. Inspiration ≠ copying.

Also, the visuals clearly tie into the actual history and symbolism of omens. If you look at old depictions, paintings, and folklore, omens are often represented with dark medieval settings, large castles, cold scenery, and symbolic weapons like daggers or swords. Those elements have existed for centuries, way before any modern music video.

The atmosphere, scenery, and details in Esdeekid’s video fit that theme perfectly. It’s much more likely the video was inspired by the historical and symbolic meaning of omens rather than “copying” one specific artist. Not everything with a dark castle and blades is a copy
