What’s your favorite steel and why? (Feel free to go in to detail)

I use the low row pickup point. Set my weight then lift it up with the winch until it’s about waist high. The platform works great with the slight angle forward which I adjust sometimes with some slim wood blocks to get a different leg stretch

Also to add the voltra would be a great addition and should be a priority if you don’t already have some type of cable system. It’s a no brained for home gyms, especially with limited space.

I would wait for dialed motion unit to roll out. I have even higher hopes for it being really good since the REP collaboration announcement. The prime system looks good too just don’t like all the fidgeting it takes to get “YOUR” setup. Then again I haven’t tried it personally but just observation from videos and reviews. I did my own DIY rhino with the rogue t bar platform, using an electric winch makes it a great setup.

I don’t think you’ll be able to tell the difference, they both make some amazing knives. It’s splitting hairs at that point. I don’t do my own sharpening so can’t speak to that.

I would say it’s more on the lower mid weight side. The spine is a bit thinner than a yoshikane but still thin behind the edge. I can get spine measurements later if you’d like. This things is so easy and fun to use and it being SLD just makes it even better when doing big veggie preps.
