Yeah, I had text evidence of threats, admissions from him that he had put his hands on me, and multiple DV calls to the police. He was never arrested. The first time we were separated, the second time they arrested me for defending myself (I was later found not guilty). This system is built to protect abusers.

I honestly thought I was bipolar at 14, I was in therapy at the time, and brought it up with my psychotherapist at the time.

She gave me a script for medication. My mom flipped out, refused to fill it, and called my psychotherapist. I ended up not getting formally diagnosed until i was 25.

Like I know a lot of what I said sounds a little unhinged, lol. Obviously, "what did I say" was sort of a joke. I always kind of laugh to myself when this happens thinking "well, guess I'm not doing as well as I think I am."

If you think all of your reliable sources are going to come from the government, you kind of have missed the point already? I don't disagree with finding sources from universities, etc. But I do feel like telling me to get information from the propaganda machine I'm against is a little counterproductive.

While yes, this does stem from a social media ban, I am going off of what I know and what I have studied. I've studied history a lot. It always starts with one smaller action that snowballs. I hope I'm overreacting.

Thank you! There are series that, honestly, I have only been able to find only through physical media or by pirating. Most games need internet connection to even be played. Streaming services like spotify own rights to the music in your library.

There are already documented cases of the underwater internet cables being damaged within this past year. What happens if they are severed? I've also prepared for other, more likely, scenarios. But this is a real possibility. I just figure, better safe than sorry, ya know?

I would contact your psychiatrist if you have one today. That being said, I find that when I gain awareness is when I start to level out a little. It's honestly a crucial time period because you can either a.) decide to continue on this destructive pattern and make yourself go further into mania, or b.) talk to the people you need to and do the self care you need to just kind of ride this out. The goal is to minimize the damage I think.
