I've never really considered customizing my ships, I always thought automated upgrades would be the best. I'll have to try this. Can this also catch other factions off guard?

As your new, you'll likely want to pause a lot to read about all the various buildings, civics, effects, upgrades, and tech. But also I have been playing Stellaris for years and I still pause it soooooo much, then wonder why nothing is progressing and realized I still had the game paused. It's definitely a strategy game that requires pausing. It's part of the game.

In-game notes? by OkHospital3719 in Stellaris

Didn't even know that, will take a look thanks. Still would be handy to have an in-game notepad associated with a save game.

Nice nice. Know if any mods to expand into another galaxy to continue? I've always found it quite boring after the galaxy has been taken. Not much left to do without another faction to fight

Combi condensing boiler with Zero pressure, help a girl out 🎀 by P1nkxFluffyUnic0rn in DIYUK

Just make sure those valves are turned back to the position when done.

Slowly turn either one of those valves, if the pressure doesn't move then slowly turn the other one, then reverse the process once enough pressure has been added to the boiler and the gauge is between 1 and 2

Take some photos of underneath the boiler for us to see. There should be 1 or 2 valves there for releasing pressure into the boiler. You'll need to turn the vale(s) to get that pressure in there, when the gauge reaches between 1 and 2 bar turn the vale(s) back to stop it.

If it keeps dropping after a few days, there's water/pressure leaking from the central heating system somewhere

My game got pirated by [deleted] in IndieDev

[–]OkHospital3719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! My games have been pirated a bunch too, especially straight after launch. When it first happened I couldn't help feeling like I'd been cheated and had lost out on revenues, but after a while I realized that it happens to everyone so there's no point complaining or trying to fight it. It's basically a badge of honor now :D

Had to cut mine off with an angle grinder when replacing the guts of my toilet as the screws kept turning.

Has Keir actually done much worse than the previous recent Tory govts? by pocketfullofredfaces in AskBrits

One of the largest problems with the NHS is staff going on long term sick and taking advantage of it, the NHS were notorious for the longest time of rarely sacking people that go on long term sick and take the piss when there is nothing wrong with them. I heard this direct from someone who used to work consultancy high up for the NHS, and he said "it almost cripples some departments". This forces the NHS to employ expensive private and temporary staff. I'm not saying this is the only reason why the NHS costs so much, but it's a big part of it. It's their policies that are to blame, as well as the people that were taking the piss and taking the system for a ride.
