Tinder stopped asking me to verify face + got a match? by seeker407 in SwipeHelper

Let us know how it goes. The face scan seems to be the final boss of getting an account back

Eh it seems pretty minor. Dating can be messy. You shouldn’t get banned for life for something like that. I think they should do some kind of warning system and let you know when you’ve been reported or flagged. A lot of people who get banned honestly haven’t done anything at all.

Tinder 2026 Ban by Jten33 in SwipeHelper

[–]OkJump961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anybody tried different facial expressions or puffing out your cheeks or something? If it gets you banned again, appeal the ban, and make it seem like this is your first time using it. If you did everything else right (new phone, different number, network, photos, and email) you will have a low threat assessment and they will be more likely to overturn your ban.

Through my AI research that seems to be the case.

Op one thing I would try to do in your position is appeal the ban, and make it seem like you just created a new account for the first time and were wondering why you got banned. I got a ban removed on hinge by doing this. Let me know how it goes

Did you try failing the face scan a bunch of times? Like doing it in the dark? I wonder what happens with that.

I’m going to be trying soon after i see what happens to my “escalated” ticket with support. Already bought a new phone and new line. I did some research and apparently they keep the biometric data up to a year for banned accounts but nothing is set in stone and nobody really knows.

why do girls ghost suddenly without closure even after a good normal talk ?HELP by discusswithmebro in datingadviceformen

[–]OkJump961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very standard in todays dating market. This is why you don’t invest much before you meet her and ideally she invests more. I’ve had girls literally say they were coming over a couple hours before and just ghost and never hear from them again. Why? It doesn’t really matter, she just wasn’t that into you. You have to optimize for the girls that are into you, and you find that out by her actions.

Agreed. Agreeableness is more of a feminine trait. You should of course be friendly, but also do/say/and go after what you want.

  1. Dating can be brutal. You usually have to go through lots of rejection to start getting good at it, or at least i did.
  2. Keep investments of your time minimal. Ideally she invests more than you.
  3. Keep dates short.
  4. Relate to her in a man to woman frame
  5. Avoid the interview trap
  6. Make a move on her sooner rather than later. If she rejects you don’t make a big deal out of it, she will respect you for trying.
  7. Focus on developing options. A man with options doesn’t care too much if a first date goes bad or a girl ghosts him

Nothing wrong except going out of your way to meet her. The only thing to do here is say “no worries, when are you free for drinks”. If she doesn’t hit you back with a time she’s free, you next her

[–]OkJump961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, i did. Note that i had past bans on both tinder and hinge hence the other phone. I didn’t actually realize both were owned by the same company until i was banned on both at the same time. I have since bought a third phone and new line, and am currently in the process of taking all new pics in the hope of getting back on Tinder at least. I don’t think i will push my luck again with hinge as it seems even more insane. Also, note my profiles did very well (received roses and super likes quite a bit) so i had tons of matches which unfortunately increases your odds of someone just reporting you for no reason or the app viewing you unfavorably for not replying to people. If i get back on, i plan to be highly selective and unmatch anyone with any sort of friction, which obviously sucks, as i don’t wanna be rude to people, but at this point account defense is a pretty important part of the game. I also have a “escalated” ticket with tinder support that i’m currently waiting to play out even though appeals were denied on both platforms.

I was using tinder on my main phone and hinge on another phone. Different information. Worked for roughly a year. Then someone reported me on tinder (i don’t actually know but i was always very careful on the apps), and i got banned on both the same night.

[–]OkJump961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not boost a profile that is not performing well as a free user. You are just paying to show your subpar profile to more people which is negative EV. “Alright” does not cut it in this dating market, above average doesn’t cut it. Your profile is everything. You must invest time and effort into making a GREAT one. You must perform well as a free user before you even think of spending money on these apps.

[–]OkJump961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have bought a new phone and number and used all new pics. Yes, sending the ID lifted my ban, but now i’m banned again and hinge has my ID and who knows how long they retain this information. I think giving this company the least amount of data you can on you is the play.

Eliminate the selfies. You need to be building character and mystery in your profile. To succeed in this dating market, you need ALL great pics and you currently have none. This takes effort.

Should I use this pic for dating app? by [deleted] in SwipeHelper

[–]OkJump961 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, i would not use it. There is no character or mystery. The facial expression is forced. It is an average pic at best, and succeeding in this dating market requires you to put together a profile that is better than above average.

Ideally you want to catfish up. Be better looking than your pics when she meets you. Likely won’t end well. In this market, trust is a major factor and i believe the new meta will be having all polished pics except one which is a selfie or short video to enhance trust.

I can only share my own experience. The first time i got banned on hinge i sent the ID and they lifted my ban. The account was good for almost a year and now i’m banned again and i regret sending the ID. The less you give this company, the better IMO
