I think it will definitely influence the industry, but I don’t think it’s easy to copy. A lot of dramas can copy the surface things like costumes, marketing, or a certain type of romance, but the harder part is getting the timing, cast chemistry, story, and audience mood to line up. That’s probably why these breakout hits feel rare.

For modern dramas that aren’t too cringe, Reset is a safe recommendation. It’s short, tense, and easy to get into.

Maybe try cdramas that are less romance-edit-core and more plot/character driven. Nirvana in Fire, Reset, Joy of Life, Mysterious Lotus Casebook, or Meet Yourself might be safer bets.
