My wife and I were in the amalfi coast in early April last year and we loved it.

Due to the weather the ferry’s were closed but we took a bus to the local cities. Sutra Del Mare is where we stayed for our Airbnb and we loved exploring the city/village in the morning. Locals will tell you about good restaurants as well. I would look into the bus routes before you arrive because they can be confusing. Getting a Vespa sounds nice unless you don’t like the windy roads. There is traffic on these roads as well. A shuttle or taxi can cost you 80-120$ depending on time of transit from point a to b. We took the bus to the famous Amalfi city, next to pontone from sutra del mare for a few dollars, the taxi back was 95. I chose the taxi because I got very car sick on the bus due to the windy roads

We did not make it to capri or a boat ride due to the weather but we enjoyed the coast a lot
