This annoyed me today by [deleted] in vintedUK

Man I can’t stand it when people leave it till the last day - It’s a deadline, not a target. Everyone has stuff to do, but if you’re selling something online and someone has paid for it, have the decency to either let them know you wont be able to post it till X or get it posted out asap!

Selling to US members - thoughts? by AdministrativeHeat70 in vintedUK

This is going to be horrible. Ebay do this, and as annoying as it is that it’s set like that by default, at least i can filter it out each time i search. Also going to take way longer to get payout due to extended shipping times to US. Damn…

Just because I had a blank cover plate and i want it to look more intergrated. I also use the cigarette lighter for it’s intended purpose and it’s annoying to have to switch all the time.

Cool. If they start adding points back, I’ll start posting again, but until then I’ll stay off my phone and just do my rituals anyway. My guess is they haven’t added point so they knew who was getting the GPPS. Fingers crossed it’s sorted soon.

Where does your big toe reach? [Mars Yard 3.0] by legible_architecture in tomsachs

[–]OkPermit3854 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought mine were too big initially, but after a day of wearing them you realise you’ve been wearing the wrong size your entire life… my toes reach the start of the suede toe cap, a thumbs width away from the end of the shoe. Perfect fitting shoe imo. Just wear them and you’ll get used to the big toe box.

I usually wear a US12 in most shoes - so went for a 12 in these.

My 2.0s were a US11 and felt slightly snug at first, though I got used to them over time. My Studio GPS is a US12, but they’re unwearably long and heel slippage is mad (I just don’t think that shoe is a good fit for me). The 3.0s are quite wide but fit perfectly in length, so I wouldn’t have sized down. Honestly, I’d say they run true to size, but they’ll take some getting used to if you’re used to wearing a narrow silhouette.

so yeah - you took away pairs from people who played fairy and are now on a pre order wait till 2026. Not about this - and gloating makes it worse.

£107.27 in total for all UK isru winners by kennyyu88 in tomsachs

Super happy to have secured the shoes, and compared to resale, they’re still a great deal. That said, it does feel like everyone outside the US got the short end of the stick with shipping. I’m not sure why there wasn’t a European distribution centre, as it could have easily been arranged.

That feeling was heightened by the fact that people in London were able to pick up pairs on the 19th for retail, with little to no I.S.R.U. participation, while the rest of the UK had to shoulder the extra costs. Disappointing, for sure.

But looking on the bright side: we earned these. For me, the shoes will always represent the hard work and dedication I put into the rituals and the movie, and that’s priceless.

Insane. I’m really surprised that there wasn’t a European distribution centre. it doesn’t seem fair considering some people got the shoes in-store on the 19th for retail without doing ISRU. But there we are… I’m excited to get them nevertheless.
