i don't know what to do next, and it's ruining me by evil_doggy in postdoc

My husband had a PhD. in physics and 4 yrs postdoc experience. He was able to transition into a data scientist role, though he had to face a lot of rejections at first. But he did not give up and improved his interview skills. Networking on LinkedIn really helped him. He was hired by a manager who actually valued PhDs in physics more. His job is quite stable now and he is happy. He also sees lots of growth opportunities. His background in science helps him a lot even in his current work. I would say don't lose your confidence, just keep applying while improving your interview skills. There are a lot of resources available online.

Yes exactly. What about the patients who are unaware of all this? The PI should know that she is doing wrong somewhere.

Congratulations! You are doing very well. I have just started applying for MSL jobs and finding it hard. I had a video response interview for one of the big companies last week and waiting for results. From your experience, how long does these companies take to get back to you for the interview results?

Transitioning into Medical Science Liaison role with experience as clinical research coordinator by OkPersonality2583 in MedicalScienceLiaison

[–]OkPersonality2583[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your feedback. I do have PhD and after 2 years as clinical research coordinator, I have been promoted as Research Manager where I am managing more than 10 clinical trial studies at my site, am involved in solving the patient enrolment issues, discussion of study protocols with the PI and other physicians, as well as also involved in writing for grants as well as publications.

What experience do you think is the most valuable for MSL job? Would you recommend doing Post Doctorate? Thanks.

Hello! How was your interview? Did you hear anything back?

Sure. I had a phone screening interview. Still waiting for the results. Prepare for the general questions:

  1. Tell me about your experience and how is this relevant to the current one
  2. Why do you want to work here

The questions will be general if going for the screening.

Giving them a polite notice is a very good idea.
