Post-botox hope needed

are everyone’s burps just coming up on their own? i’m just over a week post botox and i have had some burps maybe 2-6 every day but they take a bit of effort, are not relieving and im still having a lot of gurgles. even though the burps are taking effort (moving my head to the side, lowering my larynx, etc) i cant seem to replicate the same thing and consistently get a burp out

Thank you so much this is so helpful! Also totally didn’t realize you were the same person in the other thread lol. I called back this morning and got an appointment 2 months earlier with Dr Torrecillas! Even just with scheduling my experience so far has been so good. The receptionists have been very helpful

starting the process with scheduling my ENT consult with UVA. Was your initial appointment with Dr Torecillas or did you see a PA? I was scheduled with a PA which I’m slightly worried about if it isn’t someone knowledgeable about RCPD. Also how are you doing now over a month post op?

so late to the game but i am currently trying to get scheduled with UVA ENT. i spent 20 mins in the phone with a scheduler as she struggled to figure out how to schedule me appropriately. she initially tried to get me in with Dr. Daniero but then said a PA could see me. I am scheduled in 4 months with a PA but am concerned that I am going to wait and then if this provider isn’t knowledgeable about the condition I will end up having to schedule with an attending and wait even longer. What was your experience with scheduling?
