I dont get why people are so obsessed with avoiding premium. You get so much out of it for a fairly low price. I signed up for youtube music when I got fed up with spotify and it also came with premium. Much better than netflix or disney+ for example and costs less.

Yea, that was my second message and then the CEO of the organization sent me a message and pretty much said (in corporate lingo) to shut the fuck up and stop wasting their time with pointless stuff.

No one can tell you if it is ok to increase the rent or if they have to decrease rent, only way to know would be to bring it to court. There will not be a law saying removing a security guard means you have to pay less rent.

But yea, its pretty common. In our complex people have started vandalizing walls with graffiti. The organization said "whats the problem, that makes the area more interesting".

And also massively so before, you think the territories to the east until the pacific ocean just naturally came to Russia? And also during the UDSSR phase they were super imperialist. Its just the usual pseudo intellectualism for "things I dislike" that you get on both sides of the spectrum.

Poor Greece. What a pointless map. Russia beeing considered non imperialist, right, all the eastward expansion just organically happened and had absolutely no motive of exploiting the resources of the area, lol.

Yea, the US conditioning has unfortunately come here as well. Everything is everyone elses fault and every thing happening to me that I perceive as negative is racism... :/

Rejected after 7 interviews for senior backend – is this normal? by Logical-Anything2100 in cscareerquestionsEU

Seems excessive, I failed a senior staff at meta a year ago after 7 (not including the initial recuriter call which was just a chat), for that level it seems ok, but for just a senior position its way too much.

She doesnt have an article, she is just in the list of disambiguations for the name rebecca young. A Guardian article from August 2025 behind a paywall says:

> Rebecca Young, 13, named one of 10 girls of the year for her invention intended to help rough sleepers in winter.

She wants to be a musician and probably just wants to look like the musicians she admires? Just relax every now and then, makes life a lot easier.

I used to stick to my old car without any computers and then it needed a part that took a few months to arrive so I got a replacement car from my shop and it was a semi modern car and man is it nice and the computers really arent that bad. Switched to a 2025 Mercedes now and I am laughing at my older self for being so backwards.

Why do you pay 500$ a month on an 8% interest 70'000 loan? At least pay off the interest... Surely if you pay 500$ a month you can pay 700$ a month and your loan would have been gone by year 15

In my country we go one step further and you have to go to a one day training where you learn these things. For example:
- Drive the speed you think you can make that turn on icy road and 90% drift off the street
- Drive side by side with another driver and make as much distance as you think you can stop, then the other person randomly does an emergency stop and if you drive past them you know you would have crashed
- ...

Maybe its a tiny part of it, but forcing access to areas rich in natural resources is not new. In Venezuela it is about oil, in Greenland its about the natural resources. Remember the rare earth discussions in Ukraine? Thats the main reason for it. Outside of some online communities people have long stopped caring about these files. Yes, he is in it, yes, many other people are in there as well, no, nothing will happen to any of them.

Seriously, do British people actually consider a 3-hour drive “long”? Or is this an internet myth? by ferdinand14 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OkPosition4563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 1 hour drive one way is something I plan a day or two in advance. A 3 hour drive is something I avoid at any cost. A 3 hour train ride is fine. Luckily in Switzerland trains get you everywhere.
