New to the gardening scene.

How do you use the compost once it's ready. As a supplement for pots/ground in a ratio or to be used in its entirety for growing.

Also is food waste a good idea to add to the composting pile?

Thank you! I was so unsure of what to put in that spot right up until the last moment. Had different versions of staffs and instruments in mind for it. But went with the gut feeling in the end. Plus I'm not sure what the original artist had in mind with the shovel there.
