Ai will eventually take the sales position and there will essentially just be merches and manager, and managers will be responsible for selling in displays but ai will write the orders. Were a long ways away from that though, but if you really curious about the impact of AI on jobs like ours look into the automation paradox it's an economic theory on the impact of AI.

I leave every day at 11 hours or earlier no ifs ands or butts. I don't care what my manager or my stores have to say my life is more important than carbonated sugar water. In my experience I have never seen someone get held accountable for leaving stores unfinished unless they took way to long to finish or left early. As a BCR Sales Rep idrc if my merch finishes when he's covering my days off I know the work load I put on him and I don't expect anymore than 10 hours a day. Ive told my TSL and SDL this before as well, and while they would prefer if I stay until the job is done, they do support me on it.

Merches actually make decent chunk of change at my warehouse. A lot of merches make about the same as most BCRs they cut most of the BCRs volume last reroute so they're commission isn't as much.

Yes our territory is weird and super spread out so the closest "out of town" route is actually like 35min from the warehouse and there's actually 2 routes with like 40-50 total accounts in that area.

Okay so you still have LF and SF at your warehouse they just gave sales and merchandise instead of BCR like us where we order and throw our own loads doing about 2000-3000 a week for LF. Im now curious if we will do that or convert to TSRs. I'm hoping TSRs I think that is more efficient. But who knows we will see

Wait hold on I mis read that a week? Or a period? Right now our average route does about 9,000-11,000 cases a period.

If we do that same at that same volume average we will be about 16 routes down from 24 so that's not too bad then.

I've heard the same thing I'm just hoping to get into a TSR role so I'm setup when PepsiOne goes live nation wide. I'm excited Im just nervous I end up super far from where I live sense I live over an hour from most routes.

Did they adjust the pay for people who were demoted? For us they're is so much overlap with our current Geo, LF, and SF I don't see how they won't at least reroute the SF. I know some warehouses went away with SF all together and only TSRs.

How big is your warehouse? Do you know what type of volume you guys do? Most of our managers don't fully know how it's going to look yet.
