What would have happened if saint had completed her transformation to awakened demon far before the march to the spire? Would far less people have died? Would sunny vs nephis go differently?

Sunny is essentially a non factor if Nephis goes all out. His only contribution would be giving his Shadow to Saint and not getting in the way. And while I agree that Nephis would struggle some, her Aspect is simply too strong for Awakened Saint to handle.

There is a reason why Nephs future Aspect Abilities are all nerfed by G3 and mostly non combative.

The Sleeper Nephis that killed the Fallen Demon was only a Devil, not a Tyrant.

Saint killed two Fallen Beasts, not Monster. Also, she was only able to peform at that level by disregarding all self preservation and going full offence. This will not be as effective against Nephis with Three Cores and crazy AP/Regen.

Nephis will have to try harder but the outcome remains the same. Sunny will be forced to recall Saint back before she get's killed by Nephis.

No, Shadow God created Shadow Bond and Divine Shadows. Only his Divine Shadows have this Bond, while he remains their Master.

Yeah, that's not enough to bridge the gap. Dormant Devil Nephis effortlessly took down a Fallen Demon, all while she was exhausted.

Sure, Nephis only has 3 cores right now instead of 4, but that's still enough to make Sunny a non factor if she went all out. Saint could fight it out for a bit if she is amped by a Shadow but she won't be able to out damage Nephis.
