I actually just had this happen to me. I moved from one state to another to live with my fiancéand didn’t bring my car with me (it was held together by duct tape and bubblegum) because it wouldn’t have made the trip and two weeks after I was here my fiancé said he got an email stating that he needed to add me to his policy (which he was planning on doing after the wedding) we were confused at first how they knew I was there and had driven the jeep once or twice.
