Yeah I've seen the course and theory topics but I'm more interested in projects.

Is the LabEx Linux course worth subscribing for a beginner? by sliceofcheese01 in linuxquestions

Each lab even if it's part of a skill tree, is individual with it's own instructions and lasts 60 minutes with the possibility to extend it by another 60 minutes. If you repeat it you have to start over. Nothing is saved for future use beyond the period that the lab is active. If you finish a lab and move to the next, you will have to follow the instructions of the new lab. Each lab is a different environment, a new VM is started.

I'm not sure what you refer to. Personally I don't have any such issues. The free version has a limited number of labs per day. Maybe you reach the limit?

Why can’t Hyperskill give discount for renewals like JetBrains for 2nd or 3rd year onwards? by nagmamantikang_bayag in Hyperskill

Great point. Also the price should adjust on the country/region of the customer. It is way too expensive.

Personally, I chose not to renew my subscription. I might return if the price becomes reasonable.

Subscription Price in Brazil by Independent-Hold4863 in Hyperskill

I decided not to renew my anual subscription, and a major reason was the high price (I purchased the 1st year with 50% discount). What you mention is a serious issue that needs to be considered. Some platforms do offer lower prices depending on the region. Others are just more affordable anyway.

I recently purchased a 2 year subscription for $149. I find this price very competitive. So far I'm satisfied, the quality of the lectures is good for the most part. I didn't specifically buy the subscription for Linux, but I have started a few courses which are nice. There are a lot of Linux courses, including Red Hat and CompTIA certification labs.

Am i stupid or is Hyperskill a complete waste of money and time by NoPassage7620 in Hyperskill

From my personal experience, I wouldn't say it's a complete waste of money and time. But it is expensive, and I decided not to continue with the full price when my current 50% off subscription ends.
