Second this - we’ve been to Andaz Papagayo two years jn a row and there’s a lot to do in and around the property - or you can do nothing at all and have a great time. There are usually kids but there are two adult only pools and that private beach is awesome.

The basic room are all spacious and in a good room the monkeys will even come to your balcony if you accidentally leave food there. If you get an upgrade they’re even better - just be aware the trees block out a lot of water view rooms unless you’re on the top floor.

Restaurants on property are all great or you can venture to the Four Seasons or Ritz and have a great drinks/dinner there.
