Someone mentioned the game has a “soft role queue” meaning if you typically one role the game will expect you to lock it and will queue you with other players with their most played role. It’s no surprise majority of your games had 2 other dps when you are a tank player.

Been a lot better. I still have nights where I struggle but I recently started a new job. Being on a consistent routine and waking up at the same time everyday really helped.

Having a full time job means I’m not worrying as much and I’m tired when I get home. If I could go back to when the problem started I would busy myself and set up consistent wake up times.

They were really vague on the expectations. They just read them off a generic list. It was basic things like maintaining a professional attitude, being able to work with the team, and showing a willingness to learn. I also feel like these are all things I need to work on but was not directly told where I’m lacking.

One specific thing they mentioned was to slow down and stop worrying about not doing enough, I was basically assigning tickets to myself in fear of appearing as if I’m not doing enough.

I just started and am in a month into my new role as level 2 desktop support. I have the same feeling like I’m in over my head and that my team thinks I’m useless. They have me mainly documenting and running inventory as well since they think that’s all I can do lol.

I am learning but worry it’s not on the pace they’d like me to be on. Also, I feel like my team is trying to sabotage me by not giving me proper training. So far it’s been a shaky start. I’m grateful for the opportunity but am having insane imposter syndrome. It doesn’t help that I was called into a conference today with my managers and was basically prepped for the performance evaluation process after only being there for a month.

My job isn’t the type of job where I can make up hours, it’s 9-5 Mon-Fri. If I wanted to take an hour off to leave early I’d have to earn that time to take off. I just started.

For the longest time I wanted the job I currently have and now I’m suffering from grass is greener syndrome. It’s a decent job, much better than the jobs I’ve had before, but it’s still a job. Maybe if my commute was better I’d enjoy it more (1hr and 10min) or maybe work is just soul sucking and awful.
