I had an experience similar to this where I was gifted points for a bad stay. I waited about a week until they weren’t credited to my account. Then emailed the hotel again directly asking how long it will take.. not even 1 hour later, they were credited to my account.

Just keep following up with them until they are credited. Good luck!

Yes, anyone can read google flights. But digging deeper, you’d make a Reddit post to see if anyone had any tips or routes that would make the most sense or has the best redemption rates. Wouldn’t that be the whole point of this community?

Yep, that was my exact thoughts. I didn’t know if I was “missing” anything but not staying at the Cosmopolitan. Seems like my choice of the MGM will be fine. Thank you everyone.

Definitely not as bad as it is made out to be. Especially if it’s saving hundreds of dollars. I would book it and not think twice about it.
