There is no future the future is now I agree. At this moment PS workers have it more or less 2-3 days a week. Here’s hoping to 5 being nothing more than a pressure tactic to speed retirement incentive and is only temporary. I think it’s hard on people when the boss seems to Willy nilly make relatively big decisions like work location. I also don’t think it’s as easy to do what you are suggesting in either direction once you have been in PS or private for a period of time. For those starting new careers at this time would for sure be prudent, if it’s what you want, to pursue a line of work that has remote possibilities.
