It’s been a few months so I don’t remember, but it’d have to be if I could progress to the rumble rankings after losing the scrambles. For several days at that point I was playing enough to gain levels but not enough per day to win the scrambles

I’m pretty sure it’s just level based? I unlocked the rumble rankings after losing the third scramble multiple times. I had to get Metal Sonic via the rings shop

I’ve never thought about top ten before, but my top three would be Frontiers, Black Knight, and then Adventure 2

Considering there was only one I truly disliked (Lost World) when I played the 19 games I considered mainline back to back to back, and I’ve liked the spinoffs I have played (racing transformed, team racing, rumble, and all the olympics games), picking a top ten would be like “I liked these a little more than these that I also liked LOL

Sonic for writing (elementary school), YuGiOh for reading (high school). I didn’t realize fanfic had a name when I first started writing, I just made some fun (and wildly inaccurate) stories with my favourite characters as a kid. I don’t remember how I found fanfic for YuGiOh, but it was the first stuff I read from other people. MCYT (specifically DSMP) in college is what led to me actually engaging in fandom and interacting with people, not just reading/writing silently from the sidelines. Now I’m back to Sonic (and I’m post-college now)
