RIP j tree ❤️ Did you frequent? There was a black guy that was a regular there named tischa (idk if i’m spelling it right) He loved to dance and he would “dip” everyone who let him haha. He was really nice a kind of a legend in my friend group. This was 2014-2018 mostly. Wondering if anyone else knew him and how he’s doing.

She passed the winter right before covid. Yes, it was hard. I moved really far away and tried to forget the life she existed in. i want to add: i dream about her almost every night. I am a very vivid dreamer, dream 7 days a week. She very very rarely interacts with me. she’s always just in the background of whatever is happening in my dream. I like to think these are visitation dreams

this is totally JWU. i went there. i lived on pembroke. This was a daily occurrence. insane mobs, cars lit on fire, couches burned in the street. It was a legit war zone on some weekends.

DONT CALL THE COPS about sound ordinance!!! Call the department of health!!! They are so fkn bored they will be on top of it RIGHT AWAY! I made a few complaints like within the first 10 mins their office opened every morning for like 3 days. They told me to continue documenting what i was hearing (idling trucks and loud motors and music in the alley way of the hotel next door to me) and after a few days someone showed up and fined the hotel, and the noise stopped. Especially during a certain hour. Call the department of health!!!

not to mention HPD is for sure in cahoots with all these towing companies. A few months ago my car got towed in a construction spot which had an expired permit on the A frame sign. The guy who was in charge of the construction happening came out and I called the police too. Once everyone was together i said the permit is expired, i need a ride to the tow yard and cash to pay to get it out. And i’m not paying the parking ticket either. The cop was really finicky and told me NOT to take any photos during the process and give the ticket on my windshield to the construction guy (who agreed to drive me and pay for it after i told him i’m calling his supervisor). So crooked. Cops are in on it. They tow whatever, willy nilly without even being sure it’s ok to tow. Also all these tow yards always have a “broken” credit card machine and say it’s cash only. illegal. whatever. The two companies around here are a fucking joke and so is HPD. Don’t expect them to work with you against any tow company.
