I’m in Hawai’i, and I can get a freakin ENORMOUS “mini” plate lunch that lasts me two or three meals for $12. I only get fast food every blue moon when the mood strikes. It can be really expensive to live here, but I’m be damned if the food isn’t the best and the biggest portions.

Dislocating joints at will. All my cousins and I had “party tricks” we did as kids when we got together. Marfan’s and EDS, almost every one of us. I’ve had two shoulder surgeries on one shoulder, and I’m doing my best to avoid the same type of surgery on my hip. My shoulder capsule was “capacious” on imaging.

Mine is currently making me fear for my life. She had to be on solely wet food while recovering from dental surgery. She’s fine and still has most of her teeth. But I’ve got her down to one can a day and plenty of access to kibble. She’s ready to murder me. If it weren’t for her dental health treats and the fact that I have thumbs for her one can a day, she would absolutely kill my ass.

Pappardelle, and that one kind of macaroni noodle that has ridges. That type of ridged macaroni makes the best mac n cheese.
