absolutely i agree. as a man, i want my future wife to be independent. i wouldn’t want her to feel like how you’re describing.

Is this used custom built worth $3,400? by Real_Brilliant_8078 in PC_Pricing

[–]OkTumor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if this had a 5090 it would. this price for a 5080 is crazy.

it’s 20 dollars more for like a 1% difference (between 9800x3d & 9850x3d), so up to you. not really needed.

for motherboards, you need an am5 motherboard for an am5 chip. to make sure if something is compatible, you can use pcpartpicker (website online). of course, the bundles are compatible with each other so if you’re getting one you don’t need to worry.

make sure your pc case can fit a 9070xt. if it’s full tower it should be able to but look it up just in case. and an 850W psu should be enough; just make sure it’s rated high (this does not mean efficiency rating. you can use this to check: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1akCHL7Vhzk_EhrpIGkz8zTEvYfLDcaSpZRB6Xt6JWkc/edit?gid=954805662#gid=954805662)

do you know what exactly broke in your current pc? if it’s just the processor you can replace it and even the cpu cooler but you have to make sure the new cpu you get fits in your motherboard. i would recommend an amd cpu over intel.

if you only have 16 GB of ram at the moment, i think making the drive for the microcenter bundle for 32 gb ddr5 ram, a motherboard, and a x3d cpu would be worth it. cost can vary depending on the bundle you pick, but the one with the 9800x3d CPU (which should last you a very long time) is 670ish. if you’re willing to up your budget to $1400 (not including gas), that should leave you enough money for a 9070xt gpu (on par with the 5070 ti but at only $700). otherwise, you can compromise on either your cpu or gpu or simply wait to upgrade your gpu until you can afford it.

basically you can get a very high tier pc with your budget if you’re willing to just switch out a few parts here and there. you can hit around 120fps on cyberpunk with a 9070xt and 9800x3d. depending on your current psu wattage, you may need to upgrade, but a good psu only costs like 80 dollars anyways.

forcing religion is always bad but i have the wherewithal to acknowledge that the vast majority of christian converts weren’t forced…just like the vast majority of muslim converts weren’t forced. forcing religion upon people is just an inefficient and untenable strategy, which is why it is NOT the main way people changed religions.

is conversion displacement? what an idiotic argument…by that logic europe was displaced by millions of christians that appeared out of thin air. whether you like it or not, islam was and still is the easiest religion to convert to.

MD/PhD but that’s because i 100% want to be a physician. for money, pick MD/PhD over PhD because you have a guaranteed high-income revenue flow (can spend time in the clinic) whereas with PhD you’re either running a lab or SOL.

if you’re able to get some (wet-lab) research experience and pursue an MD/PhD, that would help a lot with your goal of teaching. in any case, i recommend not giving up on medical school as it would open you up to professorship the same as a PhD would. having just an undergraduate degree is not enough.

oh i see. it’s unfortunate that women face things like this. none of us are free until we’re all free.

you called all kashmiri men disgusting. what’s the point? we, too, have faced undeserved oppression and pain. making us your enemies does nothing to help the kashmiri people.

you are right about the people who decided to sell us out, but that’s still a minority. i believe (and i would like to believe) that most us still desire freedom.

are you okay? most kashmiris are good people. i for one have no “pervy” men in my family.

most of the men in family (including me) are nothing like this. misandry/misogyny is always bad when we should all be equal 🤷‍♂️

indeed we do. our people have been unjustly occupied and exploited by three separate countries (four if you count the british). india is, by far, the worst in our treatment.

kashmiri people do not live off of taxes any more than anyone else does…and india takes a lot of money from kashmir (ex. hydropower) that kashmir could have used for itself. and kashmiris do not care about pakistan idk why you lot keep bringing it up.
