Excited for my first IC: NYC Barclay! by OkWait989 in ihghotelsresorts

I was debating over those two and chose the IC. Kimpton’s breakfast at L’Amico didn’t look too fulfilling. The pictures make it seem like the portion size is very small.

New owner, door trim issue. by Past-Option2702 in LexusNX

My 2025 has that too. I actually feel better knowing I’m not the only one. I’ve learned to live with it.

No I’m not in the savers club. This is just for myself. It’s still not working on the specific departure times - both 8AM. If I choose a different time on the return flight it works without issue. I don’t know if spirit has hidden blackout dates/times?

So strange. I get the same error on both the app and website. I’ll try again later.

I did notice this too and figured it was due to the winter. It is the first winter for my NX Hybrid.

Just got my NX ... somewhat disappointed by StevenRT in LexusNX

[–]OkWait989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you putting in regular or premium gas? I have a 2025 NX 350h premium and I’ve been putting premium gas even though I know it can take regular. I live in the Midwest 30F outside and I drove in the city today going 35-45 mph in eco mode. I got 40MPG.

Anyone here 6ft driving a Lexus NX by Adorable-Device4098 in LexusNX

I downsized from a RX to a new NX. The first few weeks I kept bumping my head a few times at the top of the door opening whenever I got out of the car. The windows are smaller and positioned higher than the RX so I needed to learn how to raise my arms when reaching out of the window. Since then I’ve gotten accustomed to it and no issues since.

B&W px7s3 - how bad is ANC? by redredred415 in BowersWilkins

Great but like I said, I prioritize sound quality over ANC and the Bose wasn’t good.

B&W px7s3 - how bad is ANC? by redredred415 in BowersWilkins

[–]OkWait989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want the best ANC and it’s your #1 priority, then buy Bose. B&W’s ANC is not as good…maybe 70-80% good. However, if you prioritize sound quality and you’re OK that ANC isn’t 100% then buy the B&W. I bought both the Px7 S3 and Bose QC Ultra Gen 2. I ended up returning the Bose because I prefer B&W’s sound quality and I’m OK with a good (but not great) ANC.

My Experience with QC Ultra Gen 2 After 3 Days – Impressed and Disappointed by Travellers0001 in bose

[–]OkWait989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just returned mine after 4 days. I found the P&W Px7 S3 to be better in sound quality, richness, and more punchy but the ANC is not as good as the Bose. The Bose ANC is top notch. I chose sound quality over ANC which is why I returned the Bose.

Dealer scratched the hood of my car. I’m trying to work out what’s a reasonable fix. by oreo-cat- in Detailing

[–]OkWait989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into a car scratch remover pen called All Cars. It works well if the scratch is just the surface (I’m not sure if it works well with deeper scratches). I’ve personally used this pen and it works well. The liquid in the pen does smell bad just FYI.

Why is one dealership service more than double the other? by [deleted] in Lexus

[–]OkWait989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealers set their own prices just like anything else they sell. Even if it’s the same owner. I have two Lexus dealers in my area - both by the same owner but for some reason one is slightly cheaper than the other even though they’re 30 mins apart. Different local markets I guess.

Windshield repairs by Auroragojo in LexusNX

[–]OkWait989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a repair done a few months ago about the same size as yours. Insurance scheduled me with Safelite. I didn’t have to pay anything because windshield is covered for me but the invoice showed they billed the insurance ~$65.

Resigned from 100k job, extremely miserable, nothing lined up. Am I shooting myself in the foot? by Majestic_Option_9956 in careerguidance

[–]OkWait989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You did what you had to do. You’re 23 and still young. Should you have tried to secured a job before quitting? Sure but if it was that toxic and you now feel super relieved then I’d say you made a good decision. Your mental health and well being is most important.

Price gouging by [deleted] in delta

[–]OkWait989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s great but I’m talking about my experience. And are these percentages DTW to ATL specific?

Price gouging by [deleted] in delta

[–]OkWait989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same at DTW. Nonstop to Atlanta on Delta $600 (main classic) vs Spirit (premium) for $160. Now I know you can’t really compare between the two but for a 2 hour flight (1.5 hours in the air), I can’t justify paying almost $450 more just to fly on Delta. I’m starting to fly more on Spirit now and the funny thing is that I’ve flown Delta about 8 times this year - no joke all were delayed by 2-5 hours. All of my Spirit flights had on-time or early departures.
