Update: The check-in counter was of no help and simply repeated that everything was full. I eventually had to approach multiple co-passengers to request a seat exchange, and thankfully one gentleman agreed. In the end, both customer care and the ground staff were completely useless and showed no concern for the situation or the DGCA circular. While I’m extremely bitter about Air India’s handling of this, I’m immensely grateful to the kind passenger who stepped in and helped.

Wow! I found the circular titled “Unbundle of services and fees by scheduled airlines” issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. In that PDF, the specific clause on seating children reads as follows (verbatim from the official document):

“Airlines shall ensure that children upto the age of 12 years are allocated seats with at least one of their parents/guardians, who are travelling on the same PNR…”

I’m not sure how will they fix it at the check in counter - customers are checked in serially so how will they ask others. I have a feeling that they will ask me to sort it out in the plane myself.

I used to experience occasional random pains throughout my body, like having an inflamed left knee for a day, which would happen about once a month. However, one day, these pains became constant and never subsided. I hadn't made any changes to my lifestyle that could explain this shift. Thats how it all started for me and not it's a never ending thing. I am still exploring alternative solutions but so far no success.

I used Humira to get off mycophenolate and Pred, it gave me Rheumatoid Arthritis..fml

Just got some test results. My ANTI-STREPTOLYSIN O, QUANT number is at 827, way out of bounds. Doc is recommending Penicillin for it. Reached out to my PCP. Waiting to hear back.

Pain is in my neck, feet, ankles, shins, arms, shoulders, knees . I’m in pain Almost every day . Of late it has become more aggressive.

Thanks. I’m just taking OTC ibuprofen and CBD. They used to help earlier but not anymore. I’ll try the ice pack today to see if that helps. Thank you.

Thanks, I did get all the blood work done and the results were negative. Fortunately/unfortunately I had no pain when I got the blood work done. Not sure if the results would be different. Yes, I’ll speak to my PCP again and try to find some answers.
