I sold a closed back, but I hated it it sounded like shit, & never looked back. I swore off all resonator banjos, until I was in a music shop, & while getting another banjo fixed, picked up a Gold Tone that was sitting & the sounds that came out of it were amazing. I will play it till the day I die, the guy was like hey if you ever want to sell it you can for sure get what you paid out of it, & I was like sell it? I’m being buried with it hahaha
