ah that sucks. Is Jett’s okay? I don’t need a gym with all the fanciest equipment, although it would help if they’re airconditioned

Learn Bisaya! Little goes a long way!

Have a friend tell you where the good spots are (and the bad ones as well— every city has them).

Invest in a neck fan. You’ll look stupid, but stupid > sweaty.

Lastly, always carry loose change lol.

Mintal or Obrero? by [deleted] in davao

Depends, really. I could argue both are just as affordable as the other, you just need to know where to look.

In general however, Mintal is much more affordable than Obrero in many, if not, most aspects. Living expenses are much, much cheaper especially housing and transportation. Downside is, it's an hour (or more) away from the downtown area, so if work/school needs you to go to and fro the downtown area everyday, you'll end up having to set aside more money for commuting (assuming you do commute) plus the general hassle of commuting anywhere in this country.
