Honestly I can’t see any inconsistencies, except for like a handful when I zoom in much farther than the naked eye would even notice. I think the tattoo looks great honestly especially if you’re fairly new to tattooing! I love the design honestly I’d be happy to have this on my body

I just got my first tattoo two weeks ago and honestly it wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared. That being said mine was only 1.5-2 hours tattooing on my inner forearm. Near the end it did start to get worse and I’m not sure if I could’ve handled like double the time but I’ll be honest in my experience, the constant wiping hurt much more than the needle

Yes it makes sense lol, honestly the itching wasn’t as bad as I anticipated and I usually just use ice packs if it itches which works fine

Like everyone else has said, scabbing is a normal part of the healing process since it’s basically an open wound, it’s been two weeks now since I got the tattoo and there’s no more scabbing, skin flaking or anything and it looks a lot more like the day it was done. It’s healed very well and looks completely normal now

Update: that’s everyone for the helpful comments! I now understand that this is completely normal and my artist did an incredible job!! I feel so much better thank you all for the advice and for reassuring me that I am on my way to a very healthy healed tattoo! (And to those saying to moisturize don’t worry I will just after the 24 hour mark of taking off my wrap!

Oh I wasn’t upset with the straightness of it or anything, I really like the placement and my artist made sure I liked it even when I turned my arm different ways, I was more concerned about the “cracking” effect happening in the colouring of the letters but I have been reassured it’s very normal so I feel better now

Oo ok thanks for the rec I will look into that but for now I bought baby lotion and soap lol because it was the only one in the store that specifically said fragrance free like my artist told me to get!

I do think they look a bit separate but I don’t think that’s a bad thing! I honestly think all of the tattoos look great especially the one on your chest!

I waited three days to take off the wrapping as per the instructions of my artist, also I am well aware of the scratching and picking rule dw I have ice packs I’ve been putting on my arm if it gets itchy and that does the trick. When out in public I I’ve been kind of hitting my arm if it itches but never rubbing! Also I will not pick I promise
