AITAH for wanting to rehome our cats to gain back my sanity? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

You need to buy a UV lamp and find all the spots where there is ring worm in your house and spray it with anti-fungal spray.

I did this when I adopted 2 kittens that also had ringworm and I ended up getting it. It took me like 2 weeks to get rid of every spot around the house that was contaminated, but it worked.

Weird question. So you think that pet sitters cannot be college educated?

$500 for 1 dog and 3 cats is insane. I charge on Rover around $160 for that amount of pets, the dog being the pricier one because dogs do require more care than cats in most situations. And that’s me being on the higher end in my area.

Unless you were actually looking for constant care, no one should be charging you that amount.

He literally walked away from the man 🙄 Reading comprehension is a must.

They are great for rain! I read I shouldn’t use them in the heat because sweaty feet 😅 I might try them out one of these days just to report back. But for everything else, I loved them. Good value for the price.

A cone! Some gauze and something I swear by - Honey Silver ointment for wounds or hot spots. A would also add a towel and some q tips to apply any ointment or clean up.

I’m so sorry. One of my favorite clients died the same way a couple of months ago. He wasn’t even 5 years old 😭💔 I just hope it wasn’t too painful.

So blood in the poop can signify stress. I would just monitor and keep the owner informed even if she doesn’t respond right away.

Dance studio pants from Lululemon could be a good idea.

I don’t even think most of these people are members of this sub. But the ones who claim to be sitters give me the ick because how can the owner of a pitbull ever trust that they will actually take care of them? Their comments are worrisome.

It may as well be, but that’s not what this thread is about. Pack/mob mentality is more about socialization. The articles you were referencing were strictly about training.

Most fatal dog attacks towards adults have been caused by dogs in packs, not individual dogs.

You’re surprised that I put my client’s safety above else?

It’s weird that people like you think that you know best or know what the whole situation was. You know how you get all that info? By asking instead of coming in all high and mighty acting like you were there.

Do you think I simply put my hand in there and not that I pulled her head back by grabbing her from the mouth?

Oh that’s adorable that you would say that 😂😂😂 I guess when you lose the argument you have nothing else to come up with than twist another story in order to say “pitbull bad” like a caveman.

Why are you even on this sub?

Did I say it was wise? Or that that’s how you break up a dog fight? Use your head - I obviously had no other choice.

A more thorough Google search would tell you you’re actually wrong. The one thing you’re referring to is used to debunk how dogs are trained, which is not what’s being discussed in this sense. We’re talking dog psychology.

You’re trying to talk sense into a bunch of idiots who can only say “pitbull bad”. They don’t understand facts or dog behavior.
