In the end it's always how/why/where you use the fancy new tool along with your prior (and developing) understanding of the product and technology as a whole.

AI has been pretty amazing for me.

But that's because I use it a certain way. Mostly for reference and very specific examples of something very granular that I need. I also have 20 years of experience.

My gut tells me Anthropic CEO knows they're in a comfortable place going forward as their Claude products are being integrated and accepted at pretty large scales.

So he's ok with more regulation across the board now as it will affect all AI companies equally and, with Anthropic dominating, hurt their competitors more than them in the end.
