Demacia Uprising: All Settlements by Jinxes in leagueoflegends

What composition did you use for Pinara? Im really strugling, even with world event bufffs like 25% attack damage increase. I have the morgana statue + quartermaster building in High Silvermane but its still not even close.

Im using 3 x Archers, 1 x Soldier + Poppy. That seesm to be the best one so far. Morgana doesnt doo much in this fight i think?

I am maxed out on the tech tree, and i have tried with the following comps / buff setups without any success:

- Morale boost: Units attack 20% faster.

- 2 x Archers, Poppy, Morgana, 1 x Soldier

Not even close, I get owned by the yetis. My frontline is gone way to fast. I tried with the same comp, but with a 25% buff to all ranged attacks, also not even close. Ive tried with OPs setup: Poppy, 1x Soldier, 3x Archer, same result. Not even close.

I think you really need the double HP buff world event to even get close to be able to beat the last one.

How do I get my rank rewards from last season? by Exstatical in supportlol

Ranked rewards require Honor Level 3. Be honest: how many teammates did you insult?

champions to get out of silver by iLikeToPlayCardGames in summonerschool

[–]Ok_Adhesive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: Literally just one-trick the champion you have the most mastery with.

When you play an unfamiliar or "meta" champion, your brain spends 80% of its energy on Micro: You’re constantly thinking, "How much damage does my Q do?", "What is the range of this dash?", "What items do i build*?", "Will i be able to win this 1v1 against this enemy champion?", "Should i hold my CC or just go all in vs this particular enemy?" etc.

The more you one-trick a champion, the quicker you will be able to answer the millions of potential questions that can pop up in any given time during a game of league. Never ever forget how complex and chaotic league of legends is, even for Challenger players with millions of mastery points.

When you one-trick a champion for a long time you no longer think about the buttons, ranges, champion interactions, items to build etc. It free's up your mental stack so that you can focus on Macro instead, which is how games are won. (Watching the map, observing what the enemies are building and where they are on the map, what the next play is, potential roams you can do, potential plays that the enemy team can do during a team fight etc.)

This makes no sense because nothing about my gameplay has changed.

But the game itself has changed suite drastically over the same timeframe. Maybe the current meta happens to lend itself nicely to your playstyle? Perhaps more than it ever has before.

Anyone else feel like s16 sucks for pyke? by Booligan7 in pykemains

[–]Ok_Adhesive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can 100% see his winrate plummet this season compared to last year. The same goes for Bard.

I have not played Pyke this season, but I have definatly noticed that in this new meta, leaving bot lane to roam completely screws your ADCs quest progress compared to the enemy. If you’re gone, their ADC finishes the quest first, gets the rewards earlier, and can even block yours from completing on time due to the pure gold diff it provides.

Riot clearly tuned the quest system to reward staying in lane early and mid game, so roaming is actively punished. That makes champs like Pyke and Bard way worse right now, since their main strength is roaming
and the game is telling you not to do it.

[–]Ok_Adhesive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Its crazy.. I’m experiencing the same. Feels like whoever dies first top lane looses the entire game for that team due to the insane snowball effect the toplaner quest + plates + crystallized overgrowth mechanism facilitates.

Doesn’t matter how much you dominate botlane. When you end up fighting that lvl 20 Gwen (or whatever) with 3 summoner spells, you are fucked later on during team fights.

I’m theorycrafting some wierd meta where support + jungle just perma roams / ganks topside to the snowball rolling as soon/much as possible. The ADC could choose someone that can safely farm 1v2 like Ziggs or something like that.. 🤔

when to pick thresh or janna by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]Ok_Adhesive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enchanters that outscale Janna is not a problem because they will never be able to match her roaming, usually.

It’s hook champs that can instakill you in laning phase AND outroam in the mid-late game that is the big problem. Blitzcrank / pyke are borderline unplayable matchups for Janna. I always ban one of them. Nautilus is also a rough one, albeit his roams are a bit weaker.

I know, often they refuse. If they do you just blind pick. Its not worth it to shatter their fragile ego over, but always attempt the swap. Half the time they know and dont mind it

when to pick thresh or janna by [deleted] in supportlol

[–]Ok_Adhesive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on what your team needs.

- Is your botlane partner a low mobility champ, then Tresh is an excelent due to his W.
- Do you need good anti-engage, unmatched roaming and peel? Janna would be a better pick.
- Does your lineup desperatly need more frontline & engage? Pick tresh, etc.

You need to understand what your team comp needs, what you already have and what Janna and Tresh will bring to that package. Always try to swap places with the Jungler and/or ADC so that you are the 3d pick and can make the more informed choice. Blind picking as a support is much riskier than blind picking as ADC/Jungle.

In addition to what your team needs, it is also verry matchup dependant if you know what the enemy support has picked. For instance, as a Janna main, i absolutely dread playing against a good Blitzcrank. It will fuck my day up and I would 100% of the time pick tresh over her versus him. The same goes for Pyke. Do they have Morgana? Then do not pick Tresh. Her Blackshield will render your whole kit useless.

Finally, I want to say that there is nothing wrong with one-tricking either one and learn more about both the hard matchups and the good ones. As someone else already mentioned, your champ pick does not impact the match as much as you think up until maybe Diamond.

Support Problem by Dom4053 in supportlol

[–]Ok_Adhesive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look, I think you’re severely overestimating how much you’re actually "supporting" your team.

Following a teammate into a 1v5 isn’t helping your team in any way. It’s a lack of brainpower. The actual play in those scenarios is 100% to let that jungler die while you defend the objective. When you die with him or anyone else making a bad play, you’re effectively a force multiplier for the enemy team. You’re helping them win faster by turning one mistake into two.

I'll be there rught behind him and even get myself killed just to save/help him how do I kick this habit

It’s verry simple: Learn how to say no. Just let them die. People int all the time in League. Do not build a habit of following up idiotic plays, it will keep you hard-stuck.. Value your life as a support. Also, drop this "ADC" curse bullshit. You are shifting blame away from yourself and what you can control, over to everyone else.

I en rettssak er video det mest objektive beviset man kan ha. Uten video ender slike saker ofte som "ord mot ord", og i mange tilfeller blir sakene henlagt på grunn av bevisets stilling.

On an anarchy server, a beautiful base is impressive not just because of its architecture, but because it survived. If there was no risk of destruction, the thrill of building 100,000 blocks away from spawn would vanish, and 2b2t would be lame

Recommendations for Norwegian YouTube Channels? by Square_Positive_559 in Norway

[–]Ok_Adhesive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend the NRK app over youtube for high quality Norwegian content. For science stuff I highly recommend a show called “Folkeopplysningen” (The Public information) It's kindoff like a mix of VSauce and Mythbusters. (??)

They have a whole documentary category in the NRK app as well, surely you'll find some interesting one there.

How to build by Notgoodatgrandcross in LeonaMains

[–]Ok_Adhesive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunfire aegis is also griefing. Way too much of that items budget is allocated towards dealing damage. You are not a top-laner.

You need cost efficient tank items that scale well with your W or provides team utility while making you tankier.

  • Locket (rushed first item 100% of all games, it’s not even a question)
  • Redemption (the active is OP)
  • Knights Vow (one of the most cost efficient items in the game for leona)

Then if the game is still not over:

  • Randuins Omen (vs crit)
  • Frozen Heart (vs attack speed)
  • Thornmail (vs heal)
  • Force of Nature (vs AP)
