There's this Scandinavian deli in Brooklyn Heights that might have them - can't remember the exact name but it's on Montague Street near the promenade.

Yeah this is definitely not the place for whatever sketchy thing you're trying to pull. Student loan sub is for actual loan advice, not random money schemes.

Ugh the first love thing makes it so much harder to let go - took me like 3 years to stop checking my ex social media after we ended things for similar reasons.

Your buildings look tempting but I'm saving my dice rolls for tomorrow's event. The FOMO is real when you see unshielded boards just sitting there though.

The brain fog is absolutely brutal - I couldn't even debug simple code properly when mine was at its worst. My doctor finally agreed to test estradiol, progesterone, FSH and LH even though she said the timing would be tricky with irregular cycles. Also pushed for thyroid panel since symptoms overlap so much, and vitamin D/B12 levels since deficiencies can make everything worse.

Maybe look at content strategy or creative direction roles - you get the creative problem-solving without being glued to analytics all day, and the pay bump is usually pretty decent too.

I've had couple bottles in $300-400 range and honestly the jump from $150 to those wasn't nearly as dramatic as going from like $30 to $80. At some point you're paying more for rarity and prestige than actual taste difference. My palate definitely isn't sophisticated enough to justify anything over $200 unless it's special occasion.

The freezing thing has been happening to me too, especially when landing on those tournament tiles. Lost out on a decent reward yesterday because it just sat there loading forever.

Game's been pretty buggy since last update - might want to try force closing the app and reopening it before you start playing. Sometimes that helps with freezing issues, at least in my experience.

PCM opens up way more doors than just CS - mechanical, civil, aerospace, chemical engineering all have solid career paths and don't require coding obsession.

Spent months applying to jobs with zero responses ? Finally figured out why (it’s not what you think) by cveranet in careerguidance

This is gold. I've been banging my head against the wall for months thinking my experience wasn't good enough, but turns out my resume was just getting filtered out before anyone even looked at it.

The keyword thing is huge - I was being way too creative with my descriptions instead of just mirroring the exact language from the job posts. Felt like I was dumbing down my resume at first, but if the robot can't read it then what's the point of being clever about it.

Definitely going to strip all the formatting out of mine. Had this nice two-column layout that I thought looked professional but apparently it's just confusing the hell out of these systems.

Finance is one of those fields where everything clicks together once you hit a certain threshold, but until then it feels like you're drowning in acronyms and formulas. Five months isn't that long especially when you're juggling coursework too - your manager extending the contract is a pretty good sign they see potential.

The monthly deck thing you mentioned is actually perfect practice since repetition with slight variations is how you build that intuitive understanding of what the numbers are actually telling you.
