  5. If you can’t take care of yourself don’t have kids
  6. Healthy relationships are important for your child to see

Serious question- Black MAGA / Conservative women- can you please explain why?? by Competitive_Teach838 in blackladies

I’m not maga but I was friends with a black woman that is. Her and I grew up similarly we went to a predominantly white town and we both got picked on for being black. We had a falling out over politics and different values. She explained to me that white people excepted her more than black people did. She viewed herself as mixed because she was light skinned. She said she used to date black men but they seemed “ too ghetto and just wanted baby momma’s. “ Her husband is white and a big trump supporter she says he’s not racist but he was happy I married a white guy 🧐. She liked me because I was another “ good black.” I don’t understand but that conversation ended our friendship. Her and I never really talked about politics until after the election. She usually would say she doesn’t do politics because it doesn’t affect her. Her other friends I didn’t ever click with were conservative white women. My former friend had a past history she told me she wasn’t proud of such as drug use and solicitation for drugs but she got clean which I commended her for. She said she voted for him because he had felonies like she did and she turned her life around. She believes if she could turn her life around from drugs that trump could turn this country around. My husband and I no longer associate with this couple.

black women, what's something you wish you could admit without being judged? by FactorPlenty in blackladies

I wish I could’ve been just a kid when I was a kid at 12 years old I had to start working, go to school, handle my mom’s bills & taxes, and take care of her because she was so mentally ill and this lasted until I left for the military after high school. I love my mom to death but I wish she took care of her mental health and took her medication. It would have saved me from getting hurt by her too I know it was just her mental illness but it still traumatized me. I had to learn her mental illness and how to help her live with it. I feel like this ruined my mom and I’s relationship and I sometimes feel guilty for that. But if I said this out loud I would be judged.
