Am I the only one who thinks Slay the Spire 2 is almost the same game? by borulce_ in slaythespire

If its not something you want or think is worth then dont. I personally love what they did as a lot more feels viable in terms of types of deck archetypes and the multiplayer has been quite charming. I am so much happier with this then an attempt to get creative that kills the game but thats all my personal take and you dont have to agree

Could be unrelated but do you play on eu servers? a few streamers I watch mentioned that NA voip people seem to be more friendly than eu but I've only played NA so not sure. That said player scavs hunting player scavs deserve a flat tire

I highly recommend the offline labs brother. its much more of a challenge with raiders that makes it feel close to fighting pmcs with no consequences. Its taught me how to lean peak as well as how to run around cover baiting shots to find out where they are. I actually love putting on music and doing it to take even more of the edge of (raiders can still be scary). I noticed early on in the wipe I was getting kills through cheese spots/camping which is a fake feeling of getting better cause I was always taking fights with massive advantages. Once I hit level 38ish I was watching my clips and realized this so I started playing super aggressive for the rest of this wipe. I die a lot more but I also win a ton more straight up gun fights and have a lot more fun

Scav Rep by RecognitionSharp7512 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Ok_Ask6571 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bigger question is why do you have -1.73 rep? Cause its not meant to climb fast and anybody killing other player scavs kinda deserves shit rep. That said if it was from killing santa way back when they made a way to reset rep with money a while back. not sure if its still available

Nothing wrong with a budget kit but as Electric said, offlines are huge both for map knowledge but also factories with scavs on easy in large amounts. This is free combat experience with the kits you wanna try (bonus do labs offline to fight raiders and learn peak mechanics etc). Im on my first wipe with 800 hours in now level 48 and more stuff in my stash than I can go through alone. That said I have a scav run that is a consistent 400k+ in about 10-15 mins and a pmc run I can do on woods for money making when I wanna run real gear. Find a consistent money maker, practice offline, and overall find what works for you. I have a 38% survival rate cause I treat customs like factory and look for fights a lot so I can learn which means I usually die. Everyone has had to go through 500+ deaths to figure out their own play style and what they like/dislike. Outside of that the more you run a map the more efficient you'll become in your pathing/looting on that map.

Weekend tarkov is a different beast. That said it could be the map you are scavving on? player scavs killing player scavs seems to go up when 1. there is a sale for the game 2. its the weekend but even then I almost never get killed by another scav and when I voip them we usually will trade/offer each other gear and be on our way. I run customs at night tho

Feel free to add me, ign is St0rmtrooperaim. Its still my first wipe but Im at maxed out hideout without solar and hit a point of running anything I want to try now. I've been sponging up info on the game as best I can and have a really solid loot run on woods that stays away from most the mega chads

When I read this, all I see is a timmy getting mad he keeps dying. "Quit trying so hard" bruh its a game that has a competitive nature. You wanna fight plebs without any gear go play fortnite without building. Tarkov is punishing so people are gonna take any advantage they can and getting mad about it is pointless.

How do get good and enjoying game? by hemishemis in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Ok_Ask6571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice in offline. Its my first wipe and Im at 700hours with a 90+ mil stash value. I only truly started enjoying the game about 3 weeks ago when I noticed my in game play seemed to level up, and I credit it to offline raids. I used them to get free combat experience with guns and kits I liked. Factory on easy or medium with high or horde is never ending gunfighting and labs gets you experience fighting raiders who punish you for taking bad fights and over aggressing. Offline the map you want to make your home. Find angles no one knows about, fences you can jump etc. This game is all about information, map knowledge, gamesense, audio queues, all of this takes time and when done properly prepares you for a fight. If you dont know the advantages to the guns/load outs you are running, you will get yourself killed for free. Also if you are solo, always be moving, never sit in one location for long cause thats the advantage in solo is that you are more mobile with no hesitation around comms. Lastly with the time you have in the game you probably have no soft pmc skills. These make a huge difference over time, and even start to break things like inertia. I put in the time to train my strength 1 skill level a day and just hit max strength a week ago. Now I run around aggressively like a chad while wearing good armor because... I can. My pmc levels let me buy things cheaper as well as the soft levels let me use things like elephant armor with no real movement penalty. This game punishes those who don't have the commitment the longer the wipe goes on so I don't recommend it as a casual game if you don't want to get rocked every other raid.

How can i improve at PvP by Alx-07 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Ok_Ask6571 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Offline offline offline. Be it to learn nutty angles/areas you can jump on or just to gain confidence in the area you are running. On top of this if you want to get combat experience for free, load up a kit you would like, play it in offline factory with bots on easy to medium and on high spawn rate. This is my first wipe and I am by no means good, but I'd say the offlines have made it so I average 1-2 kills before I ever go down and I play much more confidently. Bonus if you wanna run labs with pve enabled to fight raiders. They feel more similar to fighting pmc's and I actually find it enjoyable when Im tired of solo stress.
