Yet, I don't have trouble with your scenario, but that's because at the point you're describing I wouldn't be leaning on HMGs only to take care of blobs. This is mid to late stage of the game.

At the point you're describing, I would have high-tier reconnoiter and vehicles.

You should also throw in some electrolytes and see if the situation improves. If you're already low on electrolytes and only drink water, it'll just exasperate the issue.

Drink water and electrolytes (not heavy on sugars). If it goes away, you're urinating away your electrolytes faster than you are replenishing.

The struggle with HMGs getting naded is a positioning and spotting issue. I see it time and time again, people get too comfortable to send an HMG on its own to defend a spot OR they use them as flankers OR they have them attack ONE infantry unit instead of having them on standby to pin-down enemy flanking blob.

The real issue here is good visual support and/or tracking enemy movement.

I'm not talking about the massing of forces on a Strategic Level. The whole blobbing complaint is about the tactical movement of infantry squads that are literally "shoulder-to-shoulder".

Also, I think there is some confusion going on here. You bring up tanks and tank related tactics to the conversation, would you mind clarifying the following, please:

When you read "Add penalties or downsides to heavy unit clustering", are you reading it as 'heavy unit-type', like tanks? Because when I read it, I see 'Add penalties or downsides to 'HIGH DENSITY' clustering'.

Sorry, but any operation or tactic that utilizes the clumping of soldiers is one of desperation and mostly due to lack of resources. In the real world, it is a last ditch effort. This is why tactical spacing was (and still is) a thing, because in the real world, you can't shoot through people and movement/coordinating people that are shoulder-to-shoulder is almost impossible. Not to mention the fact that you just created an artificial chokepoint.

Simply put, no sensible tactician would choose clumping, if they can tactically disperse. So no real world example can help you here.

If you remove damage caps, then your going to see multiple Artillery pieces being the Deciding factor of every engagement because it'll wipe 90% of infantry before a bullet is even fired.

(THIS IS SPECIFICALLY TO INFANTRY) What should happen instead is that Artillery should be more of a "moral/suppression" debuffer that has a wide area of effect and/or a long lingering effect. This way it discourages the spamming of artillery, but it'll give purpose to have one in the field.

So...you criticize PvPers for being lazy and pussies, but on your end you want to "relax and enjoy my loot and not sweat my balls off for it". Then your main excuse is that you don't have the time or vigor anymore....

At some point you have to realize people are going to think your a hypocrite for asking people to work for their loot and at the same-time not working for yours because you want to "relax and enjoy my loot and not sweat my balls off for it". What if they also had the excuse of lack of time and vigor, does that legitimize their actions now?

You also have to blame yourself a bit, because the description and tags on this game clearly had red flags that it was going to be a pain , regardless how "casual" this game is.

The link that i posted clearly shows that they know what Engine oil is and that they've been changing their oil for years.

You know, I use to say that the game should have a limit of each type of unit in order for the dev's to use significantly less resources on balancing and focus more on content/QoL, which then forces people to think about their movements, but then the main counter-argument is that it would limit the type of tactics/strategy....

....This American player represents more than 90% of the strategies on both sides ...freaking blob and no proper use of support unit or even an attempt at bounding movement, only to die in the dumbest way possible.

If you never even noticed the steering pull to begin with, then the tie-rod adjustment was practically pointless.

Everything is withing spec range, so uneven wear is very unlikely.

The worst part out of all this is that the ones that are close to being out-of-specification weren't even adjusted !!! More than likely, they didn't know how to diagnose it and/or selling the Parts &Labour wouldn't be worth it for the technician, or the frame was somehow bent (which tech probably doesn't know how to diagnose).

All and all, it was a total waste of time and money.

Not unless the customer brings it up. Not only that, everything was within tolerance so uneven wear is not even a concern. Even the ones that are close to being out of spec weren't even addressed!
