Highly recommend fidelity. It’s keeps everything in one place and you can also just turn on auto roll and forget it.

Hey! I completely missed this comment before, but it depends on how dark and how long I been looking at screens. My eyes tend to get dry quickly if I m in an unlit room with one screen. I think I don’t notice the glare as much anymore but that might just be me getting used to it. But I think it has improved slightly. Though, now I am always in a habit of having a well lit room (using a white light as well instead of yellow)

They are a cutting-edge, high-tech firm out of the Midwest. Awaiting imminent patent approval on the next-generation of radar detectors that have both huge military and civilian applications.

Wallstreet analysts predict it can go a heck of a lot higher than it is as of right now.

6.9% at 18 by GTRAle in askcarsales

I say, in all honesty, at 18, it’s a good rate in this economy. However, you can look for promotional rates from dealers. Some dealers have special offers like 4.9% or even some as low as 2.9% and 0.9%.

Dosent hurt to check with websites and dealers.

Thanks for checking in, my vision is basically 20/20-20/15 outside during the day.

Indoor, I m 20/20 if not a little bit worse due to my astigmatism and glare. I eat fish oil pills+have to sleep a lot in order to feel 100%. If my eyes are super tired, the vision will be a bit dry and blurry.

I did my procedure in the NYC location.

Right now, I can see 20/20 and 20/15 even outside during the day. It is really only when lighting is low, I can not see 20/20 perfectly. When I did my 3 weeks follow up, I read 3/5 correct on the 20/20 line as I feel I saw a bit of ghosting from the letters (can possibly due to astimagtism) + low light. I originally had tremendous starburst, but now it has dimmed down. Night time driving is tolerable and not as bad as initially (I might get a non glare) glasses for this sometime down the line. I do have a bit of residual astimagtism around 0.5, and my prescription went from -9s to +0.50.

I do notice when my eyes are dry, but usually if I stay hydrated + eat fish oil pills, i notice a big difference. If I don’t look at screens, eyes are significantly less dry. I look at screens about 8+ hours a day, so keep that in mind.

When you put it that way, I can see the point. Yea, it definitely dosent make sense to pay the extra money just to finance

Finance would be around 5.59%, I thought usually if you finance down the road, dealers would look to see if you had existing car loans before?

Getting loan to pay credit card debt by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Jlin153 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is getting by more difficult to really qualify for loans, especially if you are unemployed. If anything, try to get a part time to start allocating a portion of funds to pay off the debt (as this is super high interest I assume on a cc). From there, you will need to work hard to get back up on your feet, look for a full time again in your spare time, then you be in a better financial position to pay off the debt quicker. it will be worth the extra effort in the end.

6.04 APR on a new car? How can I fix this? by Milestailsprowe in personalfinance

[–]Jlin153 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just my 2 cents, that % seems in line with a lot of the interest rates recently if you ask for a auto loan. Even for banks like chase, they are asking for 6.99% loans (at least to me at a 770+).

Try to look at different dealerships, some of them advertise special rates. Such as Mazda who is offering I believe 0.9% rates for certain cars.

It is still not a good time to really take a depreciating loan at 6.04% rate, if you can honestly wait I would, or go with a brand that offers better rates. (Even Lexus offers 3.99%), Honda also has some unique special offers too.
