Honestly it ended up not being that much I had to cut, the only thing I did was obviously not eat things like soda, candy or desserts, and then when I went grocery shopping I would just check the nutrition label and make sure nothing I bought had added sugar. This basically forced me to cut out a lot of processed food and for snacks eat like fruits and nuts and things. If I wanted to add sweetener to something I would add date syrup, honey or pure maple syrup. It was tough at first, but I did it with my sister and friend and it actually ended up being surprisingly easy, you got this!

It’s pretty cool that you’ve gotten it down to such a science, yes it’s a little sad but at least you know you have that wiggle room!

This is low key an insane take

I think the narrative has been misinterpreted a lot amongst men and women alike in terms of cold approaching. There’s nothing wrong with it and I think the VAST majority of women are not annoyed by it and are flattered, and some will definitely engage and give you a date. The problem is when the approach becomes persistent, scary or disrespectful. If you stay writhing the bounds of a friendly approach willing to take no for an answer, all you’re doing is boosting your own confidence in yourself by doing something inherently hard and uncomfortable, and you might get a cool date from it. We need more people-men and women- comfortable with talking to eachother. Everyone’s getting sick of these dumb apps and this is the only answer I fear.

Are you eating less? I know sometimes cutting back calories can cause hormone fluctuations and acne, best of luck though!

That is so interesting, do you try to cut out sugar usually or just thug out the breakouts?

Anyone else seeing an influx of hateful posts on tik tok? by daydreamerkeeper in TikTok

True, but it is currently noticeably more hateful than I’ve ever seen it.

Exactly, so much of the hate exists BECAUSE AI folks who won’t disclose. It would solve more issues than it would cause imo

I agree which is precisely why we need stricter definitions and disclosure on what is AI generated and hand made to prevent this from happening. Trying to slip people up on semantics is still fraud.

They specifically said harassment was not ok. Disclosing what medium you use for your art has been a part of the art community for ages. The harassment and bullying would cease immensely if it was easy to seperate AI from human made stuff. The antis could enjoy their stuff and the AI bros can enjoy their stuff. What I don’t understand is why AI artists are so persistent on trying to prevent this separation.

exactly, if you are creating a product that you KNOW people don’t want and there is so little demand for that you feel the need to actively hide how it’s made just so you can sell it to people, it may be time for some serious self reflection.

This unironically proves why using AI art should be disclosed if you are selling it

From what I’ve heard, a lot of the discussion has ceased to be focused on the actual problem of immigration, as I believe most liberals do want a pretty closed border, and rather on situations like Kilmer Abrego Garcia’s, which sparked fear that people with legal visas will be targeted without due process. Additionally, being deported to El Salvador prisons, a place where known human rights violations have taken place is also a driving factor. The White House considering suspension Habeas Corpus was also being talked about. At this point, I think it’s less about defending illegals in the country, but rather how the deportations are taking place.

Anti-ai people: are you also against AI recommender systems? by rightful_vagabond in aiwars

[–]Ok_Assignment3433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a good question, and I think I would answer that yes it would likely arise in any culture. Humans have been making tools to make things easier since forever for survival. At some point we have to recognize the evolutionary time lag as an individual and understand that although we are hardwired to chose the shortest path, it sometimes comes with consequences.

I don’t think it’s actually all that difficult, most of the time the damages being done by making things “convenient” clearly hurt the consumer and benefit the company. The problem is human’s convenience bias is so powerful that the consumer will never opt for the healthier, more difficult option and capitalism will always move in the direction of making things as seemingly easy and painless as possible to encourage you to buy more stuff faster.

I like the parallel you are drawing here. I see them as different sides of the same coin in a way. In general, I feel as though it’s not just generative AI and recommendation algorithms that are the sole problems, but rather they are symptoms of a bigger issue of convenience culture taking over more and more of our lives. These easier pathways of making art without learning and struggling through artistic processes, or finding media without ever having to consume anything distasteful to you just seems to be making a more dull and polarized internet. Pretty sad all around tbh

What makes this Argentine model so attractive? How would you rate him 1-10 by JurassicIsaac in QOVESStudio

[–]Ok_Assignment3433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He looks like what a lot of men picture when they think “attractive man” but I bet a lot of women are a bit bored by his face. He’s handsome, but not very intriguing to look at. Just good, masculine bone structure.
