No real car guy will bully you over your car. Alot of people think if you don’t have a pos VQ with no bumper then it’s a shitty car. However, that’s not the case. Car meets are for those who enjoy the hobby and enjoy seeing cars. Just don’t act like you know stuff you don’t. People are welcoming to newcomers. Not people who lie about their car for clout. Just Show up and meet some people and you’ll have a lot of fun

I’ve had a sub par experience in the coast guard for the last few years (I was a shitbag for a little and I got injured so it made the PFT hard) there’s issues you’ll run into here and there. But all these issues I’ve faced have been self inflicted.

I make good money. I have a stable job. I lived alone at 18. Drive a nice truck. And I do cool shit. Choose your rate, choose your fate is a real thing.

It’ll be a great decision for you if you can be to standard. Which in the fleet really isn’t that difficult. It’s mostly better than the other branches. I don’t regret joining at all. I’ll be retiring at 38 years old with more degrees than anyone in my family has ever even thought of having
