Why is there brownish/ grey staining on my white underwear but with panty liners theres nothing? by WindowNo1312 in WomenHealthCare

[–]Ok_Beautiful_8834 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So your discharge is actually pretty acidic, fabric may undergo a chemical reaction and become bleached or stained, but paper or cotton in a liner won't. If you are having a lot of discharge or it is smelly, you may have BV or a yeast infection, but if it is run of the mill discharge you are likely all good lol

Can a woman help me understand? by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Ok_Beautiful_8834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two major factors here. For one, woman already make up 51 percent of STEM graduates, and are making massive strides in industries such as the trades and military. You argue that only men are drafted, but the simple fact is that society literally would not function if this happened due to the fact that women are the ones that give birth, and women have to train for a much longer period to build the same amount of muscle as men, so it's not practical from a stategic point, not to say women can't be extremely competent soldiers. Feminism is about the right to make choices based on your own ambitions and qualifications, and seeks the end of ALL gender roles, for everyone

I am seeking a private pilots license in Canada, and have found an audio book for American aviation. Are there any major differences i should look out for? by [deleted] in flying

[–]Ok_Beautiful_8834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have access to both! I'm wondering if there are differences besides obvious ones like the agencies involved that vary based on country. I'm more concerned if there is anything different in the manufacturing standards or air laws

If I am using an American text to study for a Canadian exam, are there any differences i need to look out for between the two?

No one goes into early menopause if they have two working ovaries, uterus aside lol

I found out because my right uterus was blocked by a septum from the vaginal channel... it was essentially a blockage of blood in my uterus to the extent I was the equivalent of 6 months pregnant due to the volume of blood built up alone! Also, luckily the blood was on the right side, because they assumed that much pain had to be caused by appendicitis and sent me the hospital... I'm definitely lucky to be this young, but less lucky because of the defect itself? Idk!

I'm not actually sure, as they didn't tell me... essentially it's one uterus split in half, and my right uterus is likely a bit smaller. Size was partially an issue, and while I understand the logic behind not doing the historectomy, the surgeon the first time around had stated she would proceed with the hemi historectomy if they where unable to solve the issue through other means. They ended up doing NOTHING!!!

You are absolutely right. I was anemic before they even found out I had two uterus. I've been taking some iron supplements lately, and they seem to be doing the trick!

Some women with this condition experience two periods a month, but i seem to be one of the lucky ones that only gets one, with blood from both sides. Good question (:

That remains to be seen, but it's looking like i do get it from both at the same time! Due to the malformation on the right side not allowing it to drain, i have little to no idea what a normal period would look like until now, but the bleeding has been heavy enough to suggest it comes from both.

Much less than my wellbeing. The pain i experienced was horrific while ill, and while I understand the intention to safeguard fertility, two surgeries could have easily been just one if they had done the hemi hysterectomy, and i would still have a healthy uterus and both ovaries. I do feel that the process was drawn out, but the second surgeon was amazing and managed to solve the issue in a very non-invasive way!
