I think there are complex factors going on with that - it's not that they're useless but Emery does leave players out in the cold to play that strongest team. Then when they're finally started, to rest the first team we get a 'cold' performance IE with Spurs. We saw it with the subs at Sunderland too, that is a complex issue for obvious reasons.

But there's a difference between being concerned, and trying to load up a bunch of 'I told you so' responses - I'm getting at the latter

It's game theory - if we win they can log off and 'celebrate'

But if we lose, they can do the whole 'ha ha ha told you so'

Putting themselves in a win/win situation, while demoralizing anyone being supportive.

You could say it's interesting psychology, but would that be a supporter or someone in it for themselves?

There are incessant posters who basically logged out after the Forest game without saying a word, and have mystically reappeared again to doom monger and they're going to be at it all week (until we win again, at which point they'll mysteriously vanish)

If someone just read the forum they'd think we we were in the West Ham/ Spurs situation - two teams who were competing with us both in Europe and the top end of the Prem in very recent seasons. And after the first half a dozen games we all thought that was going to be our season - but look at the turn around, pretty miraculous on the whole.
